yoko, I don't respect or trust any player who kisses the badge of every different club that he plays for, just to try and prove his loyalty to that clubs supporters. And you should reread the contradictory statements from Nakamura that I posted. He should have just told it straight and honestly when he went to Espanyol for the money, instead of playing games with the supporters of his 'hometown' club Yokohama.
And for your information, I have no 'issue' with Asian players. Don't try to speak for Celtic fans ? I am speaking for Yokohama Marinos fans and fans in general who are sick of these theatrics.

jackfish, what exactly is your point anyway ? People here are jumping up and down saying stuff like 'well done girl' and 'excellent work'. And here is a girl who has decided that her way up in life is to dress up in a blue plastic miniskirt outfit in a band called the miniskirt police. Not based on vocal talent, but on how she looks in a blue plastic miniskirt. And then people start talking about justice for a crime of what boils down to sexual frustration. What a joke.

Kissing Glasgow Celtics' badge involves a lot of history and culture that a moneygrabber like Nakamura wouldn't understand. Now that he has been filmed kissing the badge of his new Spanish employers, let's hope for his sake that he doesn't need to return to Glasgow for a game of football. It's a dangerous game to play in Europe. Frank Lampard (from a family of West Ham players, who joined Chelsea and who also has a habit of kissing Chelsea's badge) has to tread very carefully whenever he returns to West Ham every time. It's only because Marinos fans are too mild to react to their treatment by Nakamura that there has been no reaction in Japan. But a Japanese player like Nakamura needs to tread carefully if he continues that badge-kissing and bullshit storytelling to fans in Europe.

Does nobody else see the complete irony in this ? A girl who dresses-up in a blue plastic miniskirt outfit for a group called the miniskirt police, hands a man over to the cops for an act of sexual frustration ! And then we get the womens libbers and the liberals saying what a good job she did ! I guess Miss Miniskirt Police was wearing a baggy sweater and dungarees at the time...

Which will it be ? This one for Espanyol ?
Or how about this one for Marinos ?
Shunsuke Nakamura's BS. To be continued...

Saw Nakamura kissing the Espanyol badge on his new shirt during his lovefest. The very same way that he used to kiss Celtic's badge when he was playing for them. And he more than likely used to kiss the Marinos badge on his shirt when he was there too. A whole lot of badge kissing going on and none of them were genuine. A player should only kiss the badge of a club that he means something to and he should'nt pull that crap just to earn favour with his paymasters.

Burakumin, you are completely right in what you say. But my argument is about the nonsense that Nakamura released to the press about returning 'home' to Yokohama, giving his original fans false hope. The fans were all expecting him to come home. My argument is not that he chose Espanyol over Yokohama (a no-brainer), but his total disrespect of his own fans back home. Nakamura is smart about money, but completely forgot where he came from.

suityou, give this a read and then tell me:-
What a pack of lies. If he was brought up there he should have shown a little more respect then. Like I said, these prima donnas are not to be trusted by loyal supporters of clubs. And you're quite right. When a supporter spends all his or her life spending all their spare funds on season tickets and travel, then they have every right to give boos and much worse. And that doesn't mean that the fans are not loyal. They have every right to make their feelings known.
Nakamura, Barton et all are indeed paid the market rate. But it is high time that they were made to work for their huge salaries and show some respect to the fans who supported them. Nakamura went to Celtic because his skills stood out and there are not many other players in the Scottish Premier with his technique. He will disappear in Spain however.
Yokohama Marinos fans will still be around following their club when Nakamura is an old man living in his millionaires retirement pile, wherever that may be. I doubt that it will be in Yokohama.

irishosaru, that is purely your (extremely uneducated) opinion. And my own opinion is that you are talking more crap pal. Footballers have indeed been paid more than the average wage for decades, but you don't read other peoples comments thoroughly do you ? I am talking about the ridiculous amounts of money these 'sportsmen' have been paid over the last decade. 110,000 pounds sterling per week, for an employee who has a history of fighting people in clubs and hotels ? (John Terry) 80,000 pounds sterling a week for an employee with a recent spell in prison for assault, only to be re-employed by the employer who was relegated this season ? (Joey Barton) 90,000 pounds sterling per week for a captain of England and Liverpool who on his day off was in the company of two mates who glassed a DJ in a bar ? (Gerard) Give me a break.
There may well be 2,000 or so professional players in England, but yet again you haven't read other peoples comments thoroughly have you ? This article is about Nakamura and I am criticising Nakamura and the like who are overpaid and the way he treated his fans from his old club in Japan. There are only 20 teams in the Premiership, which with first teams of 11 players (a little lesson for you about football there) will make only around 600 players in England (including the big Championship teams) making stupid money.
No, Nakamura shouldn't be booed at international games because he chose his career at a higher level. That isn't what I said was it ? I said (pretty clearly) that he should be booed for giving his old supporters that PR sympathy bullshit about 'wanting to come home' and then signing for Espanyol. The problem with football today is that these overpaid ballerinas get sympathy from so-called football supporters like you, whilst they swan from club to club with no loyalty whatsoever, whilst the real fans turn out week-in week-out and pay through the nose to support their clubs when they will never ever earn that amount of money in their lifetime.

boboh, I've watched football for 40 years of my life mate. The real football stars used to stand up in a tackle (and not earn free kicks by cheating fellow players) and survive injuries on a wet sponge. They used to earn nothing until Sky and Murdoch came along making their own millions out of the game. Little prima donnas like Nakamura, Cristiano Ronaldo and the like would have been taken to one side of the room by their fellow professionals not so long ago. Nakamura is earning a lot of money for being good at taking free kicks. What the real fans don't want is his sympathy-seeking little quotes about being homesick and bringing up his kids in Japan, only to go and earn more millions in Spain. I prefer a man who talks straight and he should have just told everyone that he wanted to earn money. You're right boboh, Nakamura can do whatever he wants, but I hope the real supporters here give him hell for that attitude.

These football players are overpaid for a very undemanding occupation. They are mostly uneducated idiots, poor role models for younger kids and prima donnas. Nakamura should not have opened his big mouth about coming home to Japan if he was just going to follow the money in the end. They treat their fans (e.g the loyal Marinos supporters who wanted him back) like dirt.

Totally agree with bushlovers comments about the professional job that the British Army do in Afghanistan. The British Army have always been assigned to do the dirty work in conflicts such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait etc. These are professional soldiers who do not complain where they are sent and they just get on with doing a good job.
However, the point where I may disagree is that our soldiers are getting killed and injured because of a stubborn political stand. Do we really need to fight the Taleban in Afghanistan ? Afghanistan is their country after all and we no nothing about the religious culture and the terrain. The Taleban should be engaged in Pakistan, but Pakistan have a capable military of their own. bushlovers comments about not walking away from the reason why these soldiers have been killed may well bear some reasonance, but does that mean that our good soldiers have to continue to get killed with no debate about why we are in Afghanistan in the first place ?
These soldiers will continue to be sitting ducks because the Taleban engage cheap tactics leaving roadside bombs and sniping and vanishing. They do not come out and fight face to face. The politicians need to take this on board when putting our soldiers at risk.

If I were a supporter of a J-League club I would tell him not to bother coming back. All that rubbish about wanting his kids to grow up in Japan and getting too tired flying back for national matches. Marinos may well have messed him around, but there were plenty of other clubs in Japan. For all the money that these football players make in wages, Nakamura should get booed at every national game.

Irresponsible comment. You've been watching too many Oliver Stone movies. What, do you think this is your country ? Do you think you can take the law into your own hands just because some Marines were stupid enough to get ripped-off ?

Has nobody considered that this is not really happening and that some servicemen have used it as an excuse when they return late to the base and with their cards maxed-up from a big night out ? I have been drinking in Roppo for 9 years, I know quite a few guys who own bars and girlie clubs and nobody has witnessed this happening. I have however, witnessed plenty of servicemen absolutely hammered or passed-out from excessive drinking in Roppongi. I have also seen them arguing in girlie clubs over their tab because they have been maxing it up whilst drunk. This may well have happened a few times but not to the extent that the Embassy are claiming.

You have obviously never spent a night out in Roppo/ Sasebo/ Naha because the bars usually do get smashed up by those idiots anyway.

I still cannot comprehend how Japan has a traffic light system where pedestrians, including children, are given a green light to cross and cars turning are also given a green light to turn ? I am pretty sure that yet another child has been killed whilst cycling over a crossing with a green light and being hit by a vehicle that also has a green light to turn. It's not the childs fault because they have a green light to cycle across and it's not the drivers fault when a child comes cycling out of nowhere whilst they are driving into the turn. It's the governments fault.

Your argument is rubbish. Child actors aren't asked to strip down into their bikinis in a sexual manner for dirty middle-aged men to take photographs of them.
