So many seem to blame the cab driver. However, some may forget to acknowledge that it’s Japan where the natives are supposed to be upstanding citizens. Perhaps that was the cause of the driver’s delayed suspicions. As some of us know, that will never happen in the States.

In addition to LuminousArc’s illustrations, other examples of sexual harassment includes: constantly commenting on or complimenting a female worker on her décolletage or her endowment (breasts, buttocks, etc), nude pictures in the office that is visible to all employees (unless the office is an Adult Entertaintment or AV company), a worker asking a co-worker about his/her endowments, making sexual remarks, an employer requesting/demanding a date with female employee or vice versa, demanding sexual favors for promotion (a BIG NO NO), restricting to provocative dress code for employees (unless adult entertainment actors/actresses which is necessary for their chosen profession) and so on. I’m not sure of Japan’s classification of what would be considered as sexual harassment. The examples listed above are sexual harassment in the U.S. In the U.S., one has to be cautious with their words and actions because they may be presented with sexual harassment lawsuit.

The article is incorrect on some many levels. Sexual harassment and gender discrimination have unrelated meanings and the author of the article seems to have a difficult time differentiating the two. The example of “sexual harassment” the author cited could be classified as gender discrimination, prejudice, indifference or the innocent act misinterpreted. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since some previous articles posted included such errors as well.

The audacity of Hasegawa Tomoya san is unbelievable. After assaulting the train conductor, he then stopped at the station office to report the conductor’s misconduct. I hope he’s dealt with accordingly. And not just apologies and drunken excuses so many assailants/criminals seem to use. The law seems to be too lax and I believe this contributes to the frequency in crimes and senseless acts of violence.

seeker1, there is not nothing to be upset about. There are about 200 or more episodes of the show. I doubt a little information will ruin it for those that haven't had the opportunity to watch the show yet.

Such a young life wasted. RIP. It’s quite sad to read something like this and for someone around my age group makes me assess my life all the more.

Well, now we all know that he has some fake teeth. I wonder though the reason he chose to dress as a pineapple to do a music video. Is the song about a pineapple or something romantic like: "You’re the pineapple of my heart. Your outer layer is sharp, and can inflict pain or draw blood when handled without care. Your inner layer is sweet and delicate. You bring sweetness to my life” or something like that. As some of you may already know, some Japanese songs tend to lean more on the poetic side. Either that or the music video is for some Disney promotion tailored for audience ranging from toddlerhood to preadolescence alike. On a serious note, I'm glad that Hideki Kaji san wasn't seriously injured. I hope that his assailants get apprehended soon.

Yet again another senseless act of violence. When will it all stop. My prayers are with the surviving families of the police officers.

I'd take it a majority of the posters are men. Some funny and strange comments by the way. Manami san has to be my favorite among this group of women. In this picture, she looks down to earth, fresh, and beautiful. Aya san looks mature and confident in this picture.

This is beyond strange. I hope not to encounter such perverts when I visit Japan. It seems that Japan has its share of such people.

Yes, his bags are very visible. Yet he is still so handsome. Physically, Matsuoka san is a handsome man. He somewhat resembles Jet Lee.
