We've heard; 'kudos for keeping a level head'. The guy got what he deserved' etc. Bollix. Honestly, if she had the wherewithal to type out a text message what the hell stopped her from telling the idiot to grow up and behave? No siree, get a scalp fer yerself girl ... Another classic example of nutty Japanese behavior by both accuser and accused.

Both are long-suffering with tinnitus, my guess is the hair over the ears is for the plugs to stay out of sight. There's no cure.

"In Japan now, people don't have dreams. I want to share the same dream with everyone." Gee, I have a good dream though? That (Mr.) Blinks takes a long walk off a short plank. That's my dream by golly.

"Since he loves to drink" Said Mori, ex PM. Yeah, well he oughtta know, hey? Probably the biggest lush in politics. Mori was without doubt the biggest blunder this side of Midway. An utter moron and I'd take anything he said with more than a grain of salt ...

realist: Your points are all well known, but hardly indicative of the entire male populace? More to the point, modern society is crumbling and the major religions offer little solace. Time for more humanism, integrity and the development of the same. It can be done, it is done, and the Japanese have much that is good as well as much that is absurd. A land of never endingcontradictions is how I see it.

What's with the 'O' you say? That's Ihsihara's IQ and the amount of feasible ideas the idiot has. It probably also represents the budget, the level of enthusiasm from the international community and the zero level of general interest, period.

You're right, the place gets weirder by the hour. Then again, what's the alternative? Having a high maintenance, Louis Vuiton totting bimbo seeing little more to life than to be kept in a manner the Korean TV dramas tell her she's entitled to?
I can well understand why so many young J men baulk, gag even at the prospect of a relationship with one of these types. Believe me, humanoid female robots are just around the corner and it'll save the day for quite a few of these blokes.

Solution? That's easy ... Just wiggle that crutch onto the dork's foot and lean down hard for the duration. Frankly that would make me happier than having someone ask them to forfeit the seat.

Extraordinary people the Japanese. I once advised a young guy with zero English to bluff his way through a home stay with three sentences; 'No problem' and 'No way' and of course 'No sh..?'. He did, and was considered by many to be quite fluent. If we ever meet up again I will of course be sure to remind him to add; 'Yes we can' as half the bloody country seems to be mumbling repeatedly ...

Out of touch? For sure ... No different from the opposition, who also have no credible policies. Just like squabbling infants fighting over a toy. And for all of us caught in this fiasco here, Japanese and foreign, this is our lot. Makes a man want to weep. And loudly.

Counseling was an oblique reference to the futility of pretty much any method to reform these people and that it would be a waste of time. Perhaps spiritual counseling. But it was a silly post, sorry.

Tatanka: This a clear call for the need of counseling. Might have turned these people around 180 degrees. Never underestimate counseling.
