what is truely sad is that this Japanese downgrade hardly made it to any international news. Simply put, Japan seems to have lost her relevancy in international market.

they have her phone calls to her jailhouse boyfriend about the French dude and the $ on tape, plus she kept changing the story of what happened afterward........... The defense will tear her testimony to shreds on the witness stand. Why waste tax payers' money on a trial DA cannot win ? That's about it.....................................

always found the story a bit fishy.....................only a very brave man would put his family jewel in victim's mouth and I don't find that French dude a very brave man. Most likely a " business deal " between the two and she wanted more $ after finding out how rich and powerful he is.

Buy, buy, buy anything foriegn and profitable.............................................. please use the strong yen to buy Nokia ( at a huge premium, disclaimer...........I am a shareholder ), use japanese ingenuity to turn it around to be the next Apple ( disclaimer, i am a shareholder of that too ). sell the " glow in the dark " rice and all derivative products( sake etc ) to people 60 and above ONLY . Since the radiation effect will not affect their health well beyond their normal lifespan anyway, there's no sense in burying all the good stuff.

Wait, japanese have LONGER lifespan than others........................never mind., silly me.
