i would like the media to report who has been pocketing the millions of dollars in donations that japan has been receiving, domestically and internationally.

i prefer the news coverage to the usual drekk that's broadcasted. i hope that the electorate have been following the responses of their local representatives and will vote accordingly in the upcoming elections. the news broadcasts have been an opportunity to see the ruling parties mettle tested, so they should be of importance to those who live in japan.

there great for gettin' your hump-hump on. especially if the room has been just thoroughly cleaned. nothing kills the amorous mood faster than seeing "the remains of the day". as well, it prevents the stalkers from knowing where you really live.

"idiocracy" is based on a true story.

morning musume is no longer relevant. in the j-pop universe, being irrelevant is tantamount to death. they've basically been eclipsed by every other major studio. korean, chinese & japanese. time to hang it up and find another line of work, really.

japanese boxers never fight overseas. is there a reason for that? foreign promoters don't want them? they can't fight without the homecrowd behind them? exchange rates no good? what's the problem? if they can beat good fighters in foreign countries, they can earn a lot of respect/credibility.

driving while drinking (alchohol or non)/smoking/texting/calling. tail-gating. sudden lane changes without signalling. never checking the blind spots. ignoring pedestrians in the crosswalks. driving the wrong way on one-way streets. breaking suddenly. parking on curbs/in prohibited areas. sleeping and idling with the hazard lights on. ignoring child safety seat laws designed to protect children from head trauma.
if i were a traffic cop, i could stand on any corner in a japanese, urban area and write 3 dozen tickets before midday, take a ramen break and come back and write 4 dozen more before the end of my shift. i'd probably get a gold shield. be made captain in no time. given the key to the city.

christian bale was very good in "3:10 to Yuma". i think he does well in historical, dramatic roles. he should stay away from sci-fi flicks, like "Terminator: Salvation", because he has a tendency to become Mel Gibson-esque. especially with the technical crew.

with all of the e-books, streaming media, PDF lecture notes available; why does anyone need to go to university any more? you could teach yourself FOR FREE! at home, from the comfort of your own sofa ... ha ha ha. why is a university degree necessary anyway? if you can pass a licensing exam/test, get a license and show it to an employer, wouldn't that be enough?

what is the difference between someone talking on their cellphone and another person talking to another passenger? in the case of the cellphone, you hear only half as many voices. people talking to their friends on the train is doubly/triply more annoying than people on their phones.
