Bringing him with her to Japan was his mother's mistake. Didn't she know there'd be no future for the boy here? Did she think he was gonna graduate high school, let alone university? The life of crime was a foregone conclusion. Should've left him in Romania. My condolences to the family of the girl.

apple stock is still worth more than samsungs, which is also projected to falter pretty soon. microsoft has been middling for almost a decade. i think stories like these are just a lot of hype. the only ones being hurt are the greedy investors. the average wants lower prices not, more innovations. this is why companies like sony, sharp, et al are taking it in the butt while samsung, HTC and huawei have been devouring market share. nokia, RIM and ericsson have been rendered inert. apple only needs to lower its prices to annihilate its competitors.

chinese companies will emerge to fill the gaps created by departing foreign firms. they have the resources and the labour force. the departure of foreign firms is a blessing. they'll already shared their technological expertise, ideas and built infrastructure. the chinese will gladly steal them.

after i've emptied a reji-bukuro (shopping bag), i always origami it into a neat little triangle and put it into a draw with other origami, reji-bukuro triangles. whenever i use wari-bashi (disposable chopsticks) i always fold the cover into a hashi-oki (chopstick stand). i return lost items, even if they are wallets filled with money, to the nearest lost & found/koban (police box) ... ha ha ha. i am japan-ized!!!

@pamelot: another boy died 18 years ago, in vain. his father has re-appeared on TV recently and in his own words said that nothing has changed in the past 18 years. by 2030, i think we can be assured, that things will be exactly as they are now. the japanese have a proverb: "when the stew has gone bad, don't throw it away. simply cover the pot."

instead of protecting the sheep, the sheperds have been slathering them in BBQ sauce and feeding them to the wolves, in bite-sized gobs.

i would like the media to report who has been pocketing the millions of dollars in donations that japan has been receiving, domestically and internationally.

i prefer the news coverage to the usual drekk that's broadcasted. i hope that the electorate have been following the responses of their local representatives and will vote accordingly in the upcoming elections. the news broadcasts have been an opportunity to see the ruling parties mettle tested, so they should be of importance to those who live in japan.

there great for gettin' your hump-hump on. especially if the room has been just thoroughly cleaned. nothing kills the amorous mood faster than seeing "the remains of the day". as well, it prevents the stalkers from knowing where you really live.

morning musume is no longer relevant. in the j-pop universe, being irrelevant is tantamount to death. they've basically been eclipsed by every other major studio. korean, chinese & japanese. time to hang it up and find another line of work, really.
