i bought my wife an iPod touch for her birthday last year. so i thought she'd like an iPad for her birthday this year. i was wrong. because it has no USB ports, has no ability to printout from it's desktop and doesn't come equipped with any kind of word processing/spreadsheet/presentation suite; she would prefer that i returned it (ASAP) and got an equivallently priced/cheaper notebook PC.

in japan, fast & efficient service is the rule, and not the exception. in other countries, servers can be seen standing around chatting with each other. often ignoring customers. they whine and moan when you don't tip them well, even though their customer service skills are horrible. they resent having to clear/clean tables, as though it were beneath their dignity. japanese servers do not expect to be tipped, but know that they will be severely reprimanded (by their managers) for making (even minor) mistakes.

more arrests. longer prison sentences. placing the children in the custody of their extended families and not government facilities.

if you're watching it on TV in your own home, you can oooh and aaah to your hearts content and you won't be inconvenienced. if you're watching in a bar, chances are there won't be any horns there, so i see no problem with the horns. kinda reminds me of the roman colloseum, with the horns and the gladiators. lions and christians.

hmm ... her story sounds very suspicious. why had she withdrawn such a large amount of money in the first place? as well, wasn't there any surveillance footage of her getting punched in the face? the bank should at least have some video of this guy watching her withdraw the money, right? the whole stinks. i say she's lying. my opinon.

what's the tanzanian's name? is there any way of verifying whether this story is true before we simply assume it is? i think most countries voted in favour of japan, simply because they export to japan. i believe(d) the thinking was purely economic/commercial.

i would never buy/wear A&F. we went to there shop in honolulu and the prices were ridiculous there. if they're double in japan, then the execs @ A&F japan must be smokin' the new & improved stuff.

if sarah palin is the best the republicans can field, the democrats should win by a landslide. since her defeat, she's done nothing to improve her on the shortcomings which made her unsuitable to be vice-president. even if biden or gore ran against her, they could have her in a new york minute.

Good idea to stop the flow of weapons. It's machetes now, but could easily turn into guns later. The military must be more vigilant in supressing the violence. In recent years, Nigeria has made some economic strides but this could lurch the country back into turmoil.

Comment to Some wives wish their husbands would hurry up and drop dead
Selfish human beings! They already spent their husbands' money to have a good life, gym, social club, golf, afternoon tea + bitchings with friends. Now they want their husbands to hurry up and drop dead...?
you can say that again!

the older, japanese woman ... like many of her western counterparts ... is a cold-blooded snake. put clothes on their backs, food in their bellies and roofs over their heads and your reward will be death-wishes.

The attittude and culture of entitlent among the obese is mind-boggling. Most members of the medical community agree that their mentality and lifestyle is, ultimately,self-destructive yet they continue to campaign as though they're marginalized/disenfranchised. If smokers made the same ridiculous arguments, it would be all out war. Genetic predisposition/an addictive personality does not give these people carte Blanche to burden the rest of us with their problems. Southwest was right to toss Smith and his ilk. Had it been an elevator in an office building, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

i blame captain tsubasa. because of him, there's a logjam in the midfield and no teeth up front. the defense is pretty thin as well but, with 4 months left; the only thing okada can do is to start circulating his resume. maybe he can coach in the states where football goes to die.
