i'm sure those protesters shouting about "ObamaCare" would like to see even less money spent on child welfare/healthcare. ObamaCares! TheyDon't!

that 16-year old girl is a prostitute, unworthy of child protection laws. real child victims are kidnap victims; little kids chained to beds, etc. she knowingly/willingly took money for something which she knew was a criminal act. not once but, repeatedly. did anyone have a gun held to her head? her parents' heads? her siblings'? i think not. the joke is, she'll go free & keep her money while e'eryone else gets their pants pulled down. have mercy on her soul.

the teachers probably knew what was going on but didn't want to get involved. some teachers don't want to be seen as "uncool" or in league with "geeks". there are no real initiatives in place to save the lives of would-be suicide victims. only lip-service in the form of posters. if the parents of bullies and their teachers could be legal/financially responsible for the victims death. perhaps huge fines and imprisonment, then there may be some interest in intervention. in the meantime, expect more of the same. curious that they chose to kill themselves before the (re)start of the school term.

seems the keystone a-cops were only able to nab the perp because he turned himself in ... ha ha ha. ah ... california. where you can get beat down for a DWB but, they can't solve a missing person's case when the evidence is staring them in the mug. must've been the LAPD who trained the j-cops in detective work ... he he he.

Madverts at 09:33 PM JST - 28th August Does seem a lot of shrieking about a stupid comment.

he he he ... stupid, huh? when tags for your parents go on sale, i'll be buyin'as many as i can to distribute to every drunken, gun-totin'hillbilly i can find. then we'll see how stupid a comment it is. as well, how loud your parents shriek/holler when they're gettin' pumped with lead ... ha ha ha. darwin!

JenniferKim at 01:55 PM JST - 28th August The person in the audience who asked about Obama tags is an idiot. We should be focusing on Obama's weak foreign policy, and his disastrous economic and social policies.

so ... what is your idea of effective foreign policy? unilaterslism? war? invasions? more troop deployments? oh learned one, shower us with your wisdom so we may bathe in it. we genuflect & bow before you! she with two first names, like rickybobby. a (true) big, hairy american winning machine!

every white guy i see around tokyo looks like Mr. James ... he he he. he reminds me of my former colleague: "Mr. Tim" (japanese pronunciation: "misutaa cheemu)... he he he. i see no problem with this caricature. my only greivance is McDeez didn't include his female counterpart: "Miss Jane" (read: misu jeinu"). he he he ... you've all seen her type, i'm sure. wink

i've travelled with japanese people (departing from japan)overseas so, i've observed two types of japanese travellers:

    1) the type who are completely oblivious of tipping and don't do it

    2) the type who are extremely self-concious of the japanese reputation (deserved or undeserved) for being bad/non-tippers. these people usually OVER-tip. they tip everyone. they even tip bad service.

i cannot say which type of person is better/worse but, i usually try to remind/advise my fellow travellers beforehand or at least before the bill arrives.

interesting how schools never tell the parents of bullies: "stop being such a racist. and while your at it, tell your kid that he/she is a racist and they should stop too". racism isn't grounds for expulsion but, it should be. even better, not only expulsion from the school but, the entire school board.

what gives people like that the right to deny other's an education/friendship/athletic activities. maybe they could create a separate school system for racists/bullies only. that way the little rats could tear each other to bits.

i think the worst is when the teachers line-up alongside the bullies and put in their bigoted 2 cents. the poor bi-racial kids in japanese school systems (public, private, etc.) really have nowhere to hide. the best thing their parents can do for them is to teach them a second language and have them educated overseas. children should have to fight the battle for diversity/equality.

Basic healthcare should be a right in any civilized society. If people want to pay extra for private treatment, let them do that.

Why is this a right? Please explain, because maybe owning a Ferrari should be a right too and government should subsidize me one.

i hope many people you love suffer painfully/terribly, and then die because they don't/can't have access to healthcare. or a ferrari. i hope you die with them.

words too describe such an elderly person:

    1) spry 2) feisty 3) lively

perhaps, the two police officers were 90 and 100 years old(?), respectively. old dogs CAN learn new tricks!

I have absolutely no idea of the difference between Western and Japanese bloggers, because I have never bothered to read any of them, for I assumed they would be boring. And judging by the comments here, that was a pretty good assumption. So thank you all for not enticing me to change my habits!

Altria at 10:36 AM JST - 19th August

Actual blogs: Regular Japanese folk post anonymous pictures of things in their boring lives, Western bloggers post pictures of themselves, their worthless opinions, and endless details about their boring lives.
