japanese bloggers usually/often blog via there keitais which are usually equipped with high resolution digital cameras. as such, they can entire numerous, short blog entries throughout the day. western cellular/mobile phones tend to be less sophisticated, so bloggers must rely on their digital cameras. this requires to have access to an internet-ready desktop/laptop PC so, that they can download from their cameras; upload images to the internet and subsequently add comments. with the exception of house-spouses, university students and retirees; westerners tend not to blog with the same frequency as japanese people. a comparison of japanese retirees to swedish retirees found that those in japan were almost 5 times more likely to blog and do so often. if i can add my opinion, i think the proliferation of computer/internet classes aimed at the japanese elderly may have something to do with this phenomenon.

americans don't want all americans to have healthcare. universal coverage is "un-american". 50 million people without healthcare is VERY american. as a non-american, i think 50 million less americans is not necessarily a bad thing. wink

i'm sure the police would love to search Yada's home too, so they can leak details of her personal life to some gossip rag for money. speculation, yes. improbable, no. this morning's news said the room where the dead woman was found belongs to the owner of Peach John (PJ) the japanese lingerie company. moreover, the dead woman was a ginza hostess Oshio had been bonkin'. that Oshio guy, despite bein' a V-Cinema loser, certainly had a way with the ladies ... he he he. too bad for him, he couldn't keep it in his pants.

how does attempting to woo a colleague constitute sexual harassment? isn't this more along the lines of intra-office romance? he didn't attempt to rape her so, why did she feel it was necessary to punish him? once she said "no", he relented. it should've ended there. such cry-babies with their nonsense.

I think her costume depicts japanese culture very well.

are you saying she looks like a prostitute?

"Olatunbosun Ugbogu" Nice to see diversity working so well.

regrettably, diversity seems to be working too well for you and whatever tribe you come from, too. is it too late to revoke your ancestors green cards and send you back where you all came from?

when walking up the stairs, it's sometimes easier to look up the fronts of women's skirts as they're usually unprotected. just an observation. i'm not a criminal. just a satisfied commuter.

yawning children often have many after-school sports/acadamic commitments. that and the fact that they go to bed late/wake up very early in the morning; only adds to their level of fatigue. some of them come from broken homes, where there's only one parent who works a night shift. TV is their babysitter/only friend. instead of chalking children's mouths, maybe he should try to learn the reasons behind the yawning. what a chutzpa this guy is.

“You cannot terminate a rental contract simply because a tenant is late with the rent,” comments a lawyer the magazine speaks to. “Clearly it is illegal to unilaterally throw the tenant out without proceeding through the courts.” Moreover, “forcible seizure of the tenant’s belongings may well amount to theft.”

recently most landlords want not to evict those who're late to pay. new tenants are hard to come by

Does anyone know where this myth comes from?

it comes from the need of those who cannot/will not speak foreign languages, to continue to delude/oppress those who have the potential to become bilingual/multilingual. if they can't do something, they want to ensure that you won't be able to do it either. jingoists and other nutjobs mostly.

i'd be interested to know the authors race. j-cops are always looking to pin visa violations/drug charges on certain ethnicities. once they had grounds to detain and question, they were probably disappointed to see the visas were in order and chocolates contained no drugs ... ha ha ha. try callind to report a B&E. they'll search your home with a fine tooth comb, looking for something to pin on you but, won't dust for a single fingrtprint. that's my experience.

really, can this lotteria really compete with mcdonald's and burgerking? is there a single lotteria in the us? at least they should try. or will they?

mcdonalds has the most franchise locations in japan. mos burger is number 2. lotteria is a distant 3rd. they're jus'tryin' to leap-frog mos burger to get into the #2 spot. burger king is nowhere near even bein'in the picture. their market share is so pathetic, they should be called "burger pauper" ... ha ha ha.

it's actually worse than watching italian soccer. playmaking, creative/deceptive dribbling and subtle passing are sorely lacking in the j-league. why is high school football so much more fun to watch in japan? hmm ....

if he doesn't turn himself, this guy will get away scott free. had he been a foreigner, 3-4 'would-be' j-heroes would've at least said "OI!". instead, they stood idlely by whisperin'quitely to themselves ... "suge na ...". ha ha ha ... j-cowardice zero. umbrella-wielding, misogynist j-coward two!

the adjective is "pimped-out", not pimped-up. "pimped-up" sounds like a prostitute who has been beat-up by her pimp.
