yes, yes, as some posters mentioned above - companies DO have to change a little. i can
t imagine working for a company for 70-80 hours a week and think it is fun to do that. i dont feel the students have a bad attitude at all. they are honest and straight forward. what`s wrong with that? oh, i forgot, this is japan and the company is your life.Posted in: Companies angry over thoughtless students amid economic downturn

excellent. not quite just in time - a little late but better than continuing to sweep this kind of stuff under the carpet. it sounds like an excellent film that all should see and get this society thinking.

look at any colorful brochure for japan and what do you see? mt. fuji, temples and geisha/maiko. whaddaya expect?????? people from other countries think they are part of the attractions of japan. of course, for the past twenty years or so i have lived in japan - the land of logic. ha! say nothing about the people who stop me on my way to work for free english lessons.
Posted in: Some tourists seem to have the impression that Gion is a theme park, and geisha and maiko are walking the streets as part of a performance.

albaleo - i beg to differ. in studies it is shown that seatbelts save lives. being thrown out of the car lead to her death. doesn`t get much clearer than that.

i believe that the police do not enforce the seatbelt law. this is just so sad that because things like this can be prevented. police - do your job. parents - buckle those kids - do YOUR job.
