Sorry I didn't know it was prerequisite to state your family details on this forum. I am the father of a 2 year old boy. When he throws a tantrum, I take away what is most valuable to him (right now that is a net with balls in it…
Well I know one thing for sure. I'd prefer Cleo as my mother than any of you guys as my father.
Children need discipline. We are all agreed on that. But why resort to violence? Is violence the only form of discipline you people can think of? Put those brains…
Guys, too, for the record, also are dressing more and more skudzily, unkemptly, and messily.
In my opinion it's not so much the kids with their bon jovi hair-do's and designer clothes that are the problem. It's the ones locked in their rooms fantasizing over anime characters and playing playstation…
I've been here 10 years but hesitate to make any generalisations about "the Japanese", just as I would hesistate to make any bold claims about my own countrymen. The fact is, there are great parents, there are good parents, there are average parents and there are down-right lousy parents in…
I agree that she probably isn't blessed in the brains department and is, ultimately, responsible for the death of her child (unless it was stillborn, which IS a possibility). But how responsible I do not know, and neither do the police apparently.
No, we don't know that. I suspect the child may have already been dead before she tried to flush him. She is of course guilty of a crime, I'm just not sure it is murder. Perhaps manslaughter..

Seawhiz,
Just curious, where did I say that giving your child a spanking is tantamount to child abuse? Please don't twist my posts to fit your agenda.
I don't think people that occasionally spank their children are child abusers, but that doesn't mean I agree with their methods.
