Although I agree with the comments, Shukan Gendai isn't exactly the magazine I want preaching to me about ethics in the entertainment industry. I'm sure they have their own fair share of sleazy contacts as well.

Why is he entirely to blame? She registered on a dating site, most probably for the purpose of enjo kosai. Surely she must share part of the blame there, even if she is only 15. I think even a 15 yr old knows it is wrong to prostitute herself. Unless she was forced into the situation, or the victim of abuse at home that has messed her up somehow, then she should also accept part of the blame.
Of course I agree with that, and do not condone this teacher's actions in the slightest.
I just don't think he is "entirely" to blame. If it wasn't him, she probably would have ended up sleeping with someone else for money, and unless that person was a teacher or police officer or politician too, then it would have never even made the news at all. It's not right for a 50yr old, no matter what his occupation, to sleep with a 15yr old, period.

I'm not tokyokawasaki, but my conclusion is also that this photo was staged.
It is no accident that the official birthday photo is of the Little Emperor perched above his mother with his hand outstretched ready to bless her as she looks reverently up at his Imperial Highness.
It is without a doubt propaganda by the Imperial Household to reinstate Emperor worship, and promote this little tyke as Japan's Messiah.
Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

I'm not really a fan of the design, but that fuel efficiency is pretty impressive for a car of this size. I'm lucky to get half that in my car.

It was certainly a lot stronger than most of the other typhoons that have come through my way. My friend's dad is still missing up in Nara and things are not looking good.

I'm in Okayama, and it's been pretty windy for the past few hours. Then again it's always windy when my wife is around.

They are much better than the actual TV shows, or at least they used to me. I agree with the_sheriff that recently they are a bit stale. I guess they've cut back on marketing costs in most companies.

I think he meant "Japan is a major producer of world-class TV sets, and Kurosawa's feature films from the 50s are highly regarded".
Surely he can't be talking about anything coming out of Japan recently can he?

After all these thoughtful posts I really have nothing to add, only that my heart aches at this news and a society that failed him. RIP young man. I hope you are now at peace.

I'm sure Koshiishi probably wasn't Noda's first choice, but he needs to appease Ozawa somehow, and this is the way to do it.
I think all politicians should be forced into retirement at 65.

He is a career politician, so I'm quite sure he is financially better off than the average Taro. Compared to some other politicians though I suppose he can say he "do not have large financial resources" with a straight face.
I don't want Noda to die in office, of course, was just comparing nicknames. : )

A well deserved win. I've seen him many times on TV, and he always comes across as a dedicated, intelligent, humble guy. And yes, he is pretty sexy too... And I say this as a straight guy too.

Although Maehara is my preferred choice out of a sorry bunch, in reality as long as Ozawa holds the real power in the party, I see no point in him or any other person not favored by Ozawa being chosen.
If we want to see the government function at it's basic level and actually get something done, then it really needs to be Ozawa's chosen one. What's the point of choosing another leader who is not going to have the support of the largest faction in his party? It will just be Kan all over again - someone trying to swim with a huge concrete slab tied to his feet.
