Both parties would do well to pay full attention to the impending collapse of the U.S. dollar and the exploding budget deficits, instead of dickering around about who is right and who is wrong concerning "Homeland Security."
Bush/Cheney dug a big hole to put the American economy in, but Obama/Biden are excavating a new Grand Canyon to bury it in for good.

I lived with a Japanese woman for many years who was a nurse. She did home health care during this period. There were many families who did their best to take care of elderly relatives to be sure, but there were also stories from her on a regular basis about incapacitated seniors left in squalid conditions, and not a few who were abused.
The Golden Years are often anything but a treasured time in life in Japan.

Chiaki Kuriyama doesn't do it for me.
You'd do better to search by "Yuuri Morishita" in English or use her kanji for a search in Japanese, especially for blog material.

We know it's not going to happen soon. Other countries, especially the U.S., have been pushing Japan for two decades to do more to stimulate domestic demand and decrease the reliance on an export-driven economy.

I don't ever want anyone to see a remake of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High."

This was probably a staged incident. Aki Hoshino is good with fake things, and she needs to keep up the publicity blitz to rake in the dough for the people who made her career.
After she ages a few more years, she needs to find a "sister" to form a tag team act like the Kano sisters, or get into more erotic stuff like Aya Sugimoto and Hitomi Kuroki.
Go for it, Aki!

The location is not so good as everyone knows, and some of the newer security measures can be a pain in the rear.
But overall, I like Narita when compared to other airports I've been in around the world. I was in Heathrow and Frankfurt earlier this year and thought they were both confusing-with Frankfurt a multi-level monstrosity. I didn't like Dublin either, for that matter, especially the check-in for U.S.-bound flights: waiting forever in that bunker-like, claustrophobic space.
However, nothing is worse in my experience than many of the major airports in the U.S. Lazy, surly airport personnel-from the baggage handlers/thieves to the mostly useless security and immigration personnel. And is there anyone working in a gift shop in a U.S. airport that doesn't think he/she is doing you a favor by waiting on you?
I'm often critical of things Japan on this site when I think the criticism is warranted, but I'll give Japan the advantage with many things related to air travel when compared to the places I've been in Europe, and especially the U.S.

I wish them the best of luck, but Renesas was not successful after being formed from a merger between Hitachi and Mitsubishi's semiconductor businesses about six years ago. I bet we'll be hearing more of the same from this move in a few years. This article mentions a couple of foreign semiconductor companies that are in trouble, but fails to say that Renesas was getting its butt kicked from day one by several others. I also wonder about how the Hitachi-dominated Renesas workforce will fit in with NEC. Ganbatte!

The Iraqi deaths were not all at the hands of Coalition of the Willing member forces, but the U.S.-led invasion instigated the years of brutal warfare that led to said deaths.
It's time for many Bush adminstration officials to stand trial at the International Criminal Court.

Since a bulldozer is no longer a viable option, I'd say for people to take advantage of tools like the Internet to study about it, what it stands for, how they display history in the Yushukan Museum, and exchange views about it on places like JT.
