"I think Japan should stop participating in any international competitions of "Judo" including Olympic games."
Too bad, so sad. Japan was responsible for getting judo introduced as an Olympic sport in the 1964 Tokyo Games. If others learn to do something "Japanese" better than the Japanese do, that is just…

Tani takes judo bronze for Japan's 1st medal in Beijing
When a Japanese judoka wins at judo, it is due to superior training and technique. When a Japanese judoka loses to a foreigner, if even the slightest wiff of controversy can be injected into the Japanese media explanation circus to…
"Meanwhile, NHK BS1 was showing something totally boring: men's air pistol. Actually, it was pretty interesting to watch, since one wrong move of the arm could mean all the difference between a medal and nothing."
As a matter of fact, I clearly remember Troussier stating in Sydney in 2000 that the Japanese were tactically better than the Americans, but just could not capitalize on their opportunities.
It seems as if nothing has changed with the U.S. defeating Japan again in 2008.
"Japan created a lot more chances, but they couldn't finish."

If I remember correctly, the U.S. soccer team is missing one of its star players due to injury, and they still were able to defeat the Japanese.

The U.S. men
s and womens soccer teams defeated their Japanese counterparts in Beijing. Congratulations to the U.S.!Japan only has to wait four years for the London Games to possibly get another chance at an elusive victory over the Americans in Olympic soccer.
