I said most teens crave attention, not print sick jokes. And i doubt there was any serious planning like you stated. And of course most teens don't go to this extreme, but do/have done things to garnish attention. Regarding your son, my sincerest congratulations, how proud you must be.

u could read news in the safest countries in the world (hey, japan is one of em too!) and you'll STILL read horror stories everyday. The "overprotective parent" syndrome is in full effect with the readers of Japantoday, most of whom are pessimistic foreigners.

omarbabilon: i KNOW it's morally wrong to sleep with high schools girls, at least in THIS society. In others, like in Africa, girls are married off when they reach puberty. My point was, that it's a lot harder to find sweet 16 year-olds to sleep with, the reason why they're a higher commodity. it's all about what the demand of the shopper is, and high school girls happen to be in HIGH DEMAND, whether you like it (and i suspect you do, since you admitted to it) or not.

it's not weird, it's a prank, and they should have said f-u to whoever wrote it by just getting some extra people and dads to be on the look out. i feel sorry for the kids who had their special day cancelled b/c of some low-life who wrote the letter and pu$$y school offials.
