    Why do you assume that Ahmedinejad and the mullahs share our priorities?

    I don't. Read my post more carefully and you'll see we agree on this one.

    @Wolfpack

    taking a huge percentage of their income

    You do understand that income tax rates on the wealthy were much higher under Eisenhower and Reagan?

    regulate them from birth to death

    You give Obama too much credit. He will not be president for life (unless you want to make that claim too).

    will kill citizens without trial

    No different from Obama's Republican predecessor.

    bypass the Senate with political appointments

    Because the Senate refused to do its job.

    force Americans to buy a product just because they are alive

    Do you know anyone who has never paid anything for health care in their life? Medical costs are inevitable, and the private sector has proven itself unable to control those costs responsibly. Other countries have government regulated healthcare, and they're doing much better than the US is.

    it suits his ideology and because He just doesn't give a damn

    Are those two motivations possible at the same time?

    He is easily the worst president in American history.

    Somebody call a doctor quick. This man's got a bad case of Obama Derangement Syndrome.

    @VicMOsaka

    Why is it that Israel does not allow IAEA nuclear nspections whilst every other country has to ?

    That is not fair, I admit. Israel is coddled, particularly by the U.S., and it often gets away with despicable behavior.

    Bear in mind, though, that Israel does not regularly call for the outright destruction of other nations. How often have you seen Israelis chanting 'Death to Iran', despite Iran-sponsored terrorist attacks inflicted on them?

    @kurisupisu

    Would it not be normal for Iran to spew a little vitriol?

    A little, yes. Iran has plenty of reasons to be angry at the West. But none of those reasons justify the belligerent hostility shown by the current regime. It is dangerous and deliberately invites antagonism. The clerics' and the Revolutionary Guard's stance is not one shared by most Iranian citizens.

    exuberant high school students, held aloft placards declaring “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.”

    = the mark of an enlightened political system.

    How can the leaders of Iran not understand global concern about their nuclear ambitions when vitriol like this is encouraged? If Iran really wanted the world to believe its nuclear program is peaceful, one would think it would make some attempts to win friends.

    Don't be absurd. I could make a similarly extremist reaction to the effect that religious belief does not give one the right to deny health services deemed doctrinally improper. This is not an ideological war, at least not one waged by Obama.

    What I don't understand is why it should be free

    From a bottom line point of view, the consequences of not having birth control are a bigger expense to society as a whole. Down the road, everybody is going to pay the price for unwanted or unsupported children, like it or not. Birth control is a lot cheaper and saves a lot of misery.

    I will reverse every single Obama regulation that attacks our religious liberty and threatens innocent life

    That shouldn't take long, Mitt, since there aren't any.

    Romney again throwing out red meat to convince Americans that he's a conservative superman.

    A simple way to relieve overcrowding is to set a deductible of say 3,000 yen before insurance can kick in. That way less people will be tempted to go to a doctor for a common cold.

    ruled 4-1 that such orders are constitutional.

    I applaud that one judge who deemed it unconstitutional. How in the hell could any person with a sense of justice interpret forcing someone, even a employee of the state, to sing a politically controversial song not a violation of freedom of thought?

    A country's justice system is indicative of the health of a country's democracy. We are herby reminded where Japan stands.

    In other words, the end justifies the means. Torture is only wrong if no useful information comes of it, especially since it was somebody else who did the dirty work.

    Canadians should start seriously considering whether they want to abandon their ideals and follow their American friends down this path.

    The media was in the tank for Obama. You needed all of about two days in America during the 08 campaign for that to have been made all too clear.

    So why did the 'liberal' media made so much of Obama's peripheral connections to Tony Rezko, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and Bill Ayers? What log cabin were you staying in during your two days in America during the 08 campaign? You must also have missed how meanwhile the 'liberal lamestream drive-by' media never made a point of mentioning the ex-con G. Gordon Liddy being a donor and fundraiser for John McCain.

    And you forgot about Fox. Are they part of the 'media complex' as well?

    Bill Clinton,btw, recently admitted the media sided with Obama against his wife in 08.

    Must be true then.

    @Wolfpack -- I agree that Obama has been negligent in taking more serious action in Syria, but I disagree that it is because he's a lackey of the UN. Obama has taken military action without the UN's backing before.
