I heard the news report in Japanese, and the only thing here that loses in translation is the assumption that a person of achievement is also a person of honor. The same assumption that led to the Noriko Sakai media lynching a couple of years ago, to name but one example.

That one made me laugh, somehow.
Anyway, "the boss" never really does much for me, along with a lot of American arena rock. Enough with the ego and vulnerability shtick--working class hero cum superstar cum softspoken prairie balladeer. Springsteen has a great voice and knows how to use it, but I don't much care for his musical approach.

Commercials with popular stars like Aya Ueto make me happy. She is very cute. The white dog is very funny. He makes me laugh, especially when family member look on behind him. I wet myself when I see these commercials. I want to buy more and more products that are advertised on TV.

Sounds like a hilariously captivating commercial. Family communicates with astronaut in space and dreams of escaping from the shallowness and repetition of the producers' ad concepts.
Also glad to see the Japanese astronauts doing something useful in space, like advertising instant noodles and cell phones.
