Exile are another formulaic pop act, sure, but they're laughing all the way to the bank. Ninety percent of you don't like Exile (including me) would gladly trade your stringent artistic standards for the truckloads of yen and poon-tang the band is enjoying.

Based on most of the comments in this article, I am now totaly convinced that a large number of people in Japan have been brainwashed by their over the hill politicians. This has caused extreme paranoia and a negative outlook towards non Japanese. Granting citizenship to an individual who isnt Japanese by race doesnt mean theyll be treated properly/without bias. If equality can be achieved I think more people would consider such a move. The name issue is sillyness and bunch of old goats shouldnt be deciding an individuals name. Wow! our tax dollars are certainly hard at work. Wake up people! Tell the government what to do not the other way around.

Its a silly word really. If I asked someone back home if they were half this and half that, theyd think I was uneducated or an idiot. Japanese sure like to take short cuts with their vocab.

Posted in: What do you think of the word "hafu," the Japanese term used to describe anyone who is half-Japanese?

Now if people had this much interest or concern for important issues in this world everything would be just peachy. People do the darndest things.

Just remember, a CEOs salary is provided by 95% of the population through consumption. This 95% makes just enough cash to get by or barely get by. Technically, the majority could demand the amount that goes above and beyond a reasonable salary for CEOs, say a milllion or two to be distributed to them. To go through life thinking that John Doe is making 50 grand and the CEO is hauling in 20, 30, 50 million is shameful. Increase that 50 grand to 75 or 100 for the majority and reduce the 20 million to a few for the CEO and it`ll be much better for everyone including the economy. We the people have the power.

    A. Don`t trust salary stats. B. In general exec salaries are too high period. Who cares what country you work in. Corporate earnings should be shared with all employees not just a few bigwigs.

Gurukun, But I want my tax dollars to go to other things more important than trash that should have thought about the consequences before doing thier atrocities.

Good point, However, your tax dollars aren`t going to those things whether you are supporting prisoners via taxes or not. If they were there would be no poverty, great healthcare for everyone, fantastic infrastructure, good paying jobs for all, and finally wonderful education. Where the heck are your tax dollars going? certainly not all of it to support prisoners is it? Wait! military?

A bunch of corrupt politicians who cant do anything right blasting another individual about ethics. Wow! I know BP messed up but if they are going to lecture the CEO then maybe 300 million Americans should get together and start blasting the politicians, theyve caused all sorts of problems, too. Oh wait! they`ll sick the military and police on you if you do that. Better not.

People dont speak up here so what do you expect? If you want some action say it. If you dont get it, look elswhere. People are the authors of their own misfortune in this country when it comes to affection or being intimate. I always hear "Its not the Japanese way or we are shy people." Oh well then, suck it up or speak up. Also, perhaps some of these men are tired or are turned off of their wives because of nagging. If you want your husband to get closer to you dont slag him off and nag him. Its a very huge turnoff and makes men uninterested. Sexy and hot or not, too much nagging wont do women any favours.

If someone is speaking quietly and then who cares. No disturbing, no need to get pushy. Some people tell you to get off the phone even if they can`t hear you, the simple fact that you are on the phone is what urks them.

Sorry to be honest but having elderly taking care of infants and children is embedded in the japanese culture. Nothing you can do about that. Shouganai na!

No I can`t but he should be held accountable. Culture or not. And another thing, the overuse of the word shoganai is doing nothing positive for your country. It shows laziness and cowardly behaviour.
