Considering many companies, including Toyota brag about being Six Sigma management companies, it would be wise for them to maintain the highest level of quality.

Beach clean up is a good thing but, taxes should be paying for these kinds of services. However, money isnt controlled properly so they arent.

Failed Democracy. Representatives arent doing the job they were voted to do. Nation wide vote required and then the Politicians will have no choice but to do what they are told. Thats democracy. "People shouldnt be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people." This isnt just an American issue either.

Wake the four year old up and take her. Who care if she misses a little sleep or screams her head off for being woken up. You are the boss not the child. The headline should include "Mother Charged."

First off, stop using the word "Gaijin." It sounds like you have no respect for yourself. Its "Gaikokujin." Secondly, dont just offer 1 year contracts to your teachers; Thats proof you dont give a squat about them. Thirdly, provide the proper benefits. Companies are always finding ways to pro rate salaries and create bogus hourly working schedules to avoid paying benefits. Lastly, the foreign Ive had have all been on a power trip and had no people skills. They would always accuse or blame the teacher for everything. Teachers arent paid to be psychologists. So,if managers want loyalty from their teachers they should reciprocate loyalty also. It might be a good idea to stop hiring recent uni grads, too.

Theres no proof that Tony isnt being bad mouthed. In addition, why isnt she being forced to make available visitation time for Tony? Once again, he may be a great dad but that doesnt matter in Japan. Racism is alive and well in Japan. Thats undeniable. We poor foreigners? Blah, blah, blah. Ethnicity/Nationality shouldnt even be an issue but it is here. How about ethics? That would be a good start.

Dear all those who think this guy is an idiot,

Can you explain why he was told that he wouldnt gain custody or any rights with his child because he wasnt Japanese. Outright RACISM not culture!

Can you explain why in the vast majority of cases the Japanese mother gets custody of the child/children? There are very very very few cases of the husband or for that matter a foreign husband getting custody.

Can you explain why if a child has a good father, why wouldnt the mother let the child/children meet with him? Sounds a little controlling and ridiculous. Probably because she can get away with it. whats the problem with visiting the father? Is this a finders keepers, losers weepers game?

The "Japanese Culture" excuse has worn thin and it isn`t a good excuse to try and wash away the real problem, "Japanese Racism."

So thats it? Nothing will happen to the mother? No charges or diciplinary action? What the hell is going on in this country? Fact of the matter is its her fault.

Eat properly, stay positive, rest, and exercise and vitamins are not required. People need to do their own research and not think the word "vitamin" means "better life."

I was stopped by 2 cops at an intersection while riding my bike in Hamamatsu a short while back. Of course they wanted to see ID and check the reg # on the bike. I gave them the ID and told them I bought the bike from another teacher who had left Japan. Within a few minutes, about 8 bosozoku ran a red light and were driving dangerously causing drivers and people at the cross walk to stop in their tracks. I then said to the cops "Why is that ok?" and "You never stop them. Does my tax money pay for you to stop bicycles and not wreckless drivers?" They said "Wakaranai." I said that I was going to make a formal complaint, contact newspapers, and speak to a lawyer about harassing me. They went silent and let me go in seconds. The lack of logic here blows my mind sometimes.

Sounds like this priest is telling the truth and nobody wants to listen. Hes right. It is the responsibility of leaders at all levels to make sure people arent suffering and they are failing drastically.

They better pass it soon. Their jobs aren`t to continue delaying national health care and they should remember that they work for the people. Once again Democracy at its best.
