    The Thai feel very strongly about their royalty. Or at least the government does. In free democratic societies, e.g. the United States of America, freedom of expression is guaranteed by the constitution. Not so in the Kingdom of Thailand and Gordon must have known. It seems galling to be punished for an offense committed outside the borders of said kingdom, but that is the way these countries work. Their tolerance level is different. Gordon is plain stupid or he wanted attention focused on undemocratic, outdated medieval rules.

    I love the red stockings. I just ordered some on line but they will not mail them to Japan. Why?

    Well, if we begin talking about shopping for stockings, I can tell you that Japanese industry revolutionized the production of seamless stockings and pantie stockings (tights) half a century ago and has continued to be on top of developments with the latest colorful, anything goes trend. Unless you are unable to go out, visit any women's hosiery / stockings / etc. store and you'll find your red stockings. And then ebay sells Japanese stockings imported from Japan.

    This is not a good idea. Instead of earmarking more funds, Japan should scale down the whale hunt operations. That might generate some international understanding.

    So by sitting in the outside lane when there is nothing inside of you then you are in breach of the law. Whatever speed you are travelling at.

    Exactly. Many drivers in this country seem to be set in their conviction that they are free to choose the lane they drive in at a speed of their choosing. Maybe confusing city / urban roads with highways.
