Wow, what a nice picture. Aiko is a cutie, not as cute as my daughter though. Beautiful dogs, and nice to see them smiling.

I'd hate to think what she'd have done if she was really enraged. As parents what punishment do you give a kid for burning the house down? I'd send her to Dr. Phil for a year, that would teach her, but then again that could be seen as abusive.

I bear to imagine the pain it felt. Cleo, you rock, I agree.

Wow, these people are creative. Proving that if you get off your duff and use your head you can still get ahead in life independently. Good on them.

Nooooo! Why can't the Dems let Shrillary disappear. Personally I think Richardson would have been a better pick.

Awwww look at the kawaii character on the side. It will be a definite winner with the public and good for the environment too.

What beer image girl and not "suds ambassador" or "Best Lagerist", what an out rage. I'm switching to Kirin for sure, they still have the bikini chics.

“I hope many people will join the campaign for a better environment on the island which is a UNESCO world heritage site.”

I am programmed to do anything you say.

The reason 58% of Japanese in one poll agree with him is because of the education they received (actually lack of education that isn't revised) and also because of the continual victimization Japan propels upon its citizens. In diplomacy and politics the politicians here talk big time smack to other world leaders, but to the citizens here its the "We're a small island of little homogenous people hated by the rest of the world". Until open political debate in society - even any kind of political satire - and critical reasoning are taught in school then the same 58% will continue to increase.

I love Japan and the culture and the majority of people are polite, but their critical reasoning amounts to believing everything a teacher, politician, or TV news reader cum analyst says. I have met many here who say, "If its in the Chunichi or on the TV news it must be the truth."

Both my wife and I are US citizens. When we first arrived in 1997 neither of us had trouble getting credit cards. Maybe because we live in Nagoya I guess. The application process was not difficult and the same day they called us at home to say we were approved. Aichi Ginko has always been easy to deal with.

Without question the "Ponyo" song. My daughter gives it two thumbs up.

So from the photo it must smell like horse pee and surf. Black suit and red shoes, with that sense of fashion why would anyone trust a perfume he endorses?

I agree mcheeky, the USA should, like Chris Rock suggested, make each bullet $5000. That would definitely eliminate crimes of passion with guns. You'd have to work 3 jobs for a year to really be able to pop caps properly in someone then. You'd also see a near end to stories like this one.

I wonder how long it will take the cops to question his kids or spouse? Have the koban boys in blue figured out that they should be the prime suspects yet?

With Japan donating large sums to other countries, and bailing out western banks, nobody with authority will do anything about it except issue a strong letter, if that. Japan has thumbed its nose at world opinion for years and what has been the out come - nothing.

Ahhhh, Christmas brings out the best in people. Peace on earth and good will to all people.

A few people got shot and killed in a store in Southern California. Not a very good image to project to the world.

Agreed, alot like all the stabbings and hackings here in Japan.

Why don't they just give cash? Can't Bulgari afford a real donation. They should get the Best Scroogist award.
