As the father of a 10 year old daughter, and yes I am at work right now, at 2 kids are fast and able to escape under the most watchful of eyes. The phone rings - you answer it, then when you hang up - Where's the crumb snatcher? A delivery at the door, you accept it - Where's the kiddo? You can't be everywhere at once. Accidents can and do happen.
That said, the fmaily does live on a train line and it is one of the busiest here in Nagoya. The parents need to be even more watchful for this reason. The buggest problem is the Meitetsu tracks are not fenced in like the JR tracks and are not elevated above road crossings. The kid is alive and perhaps learned a lesson repeatedly taught by his parents look both ways and wait for the gates to go up before crossing. I'm sure he'll be extra careful in the future, if not then he goes the way of others in history who refuse to learn from experience.

Because she's always on the TV talk shows Saturday and Sunday mornings harping about the "lack and loss of morals" in Japan. Harping about "how easy young people in Japan throw off their marriages". And also harping on "young people not seeing thier duty in raising families". I wonder if she'll be harping on something different now. Good luck single mom, you aren't so much more righteous now huh? It hurts when you fall off the God throne, ouch!

Naw, US firemen wear cooler looking helmets and jump suits. US policemen are much more professional.

Investments and loans are risky, sometimes you eat the bear and other times the bear eats you. When you have to borrow to pay off loans then the bear is already about to take a nice big bite. Another reason was the massive credit card debt, some people never figured all that free money would dry up and the credit collector would come calling. All in all you can't expect others to pay up for your mistakes.

Here in Nagoya a taxi driver told me today he is worried about being robbed with the economy tanking. Said he keeps a knife under his seat for protection, cant't say I blame him after reading this story. RIP Mr. Nagata, and my condolences to the family.

I think President elect Obama needs to send Bill Clinton to help things out. Clinton could show the Hamas how to stroke their barrells and teach the Israelis to polish their helmets.

My wife dictates my diet of organic vegetarian food, but I can sneak a steak in once a week, or a hot dog at a ball game. She makes sure I get plenty of exercise trying to keep up with her and my daughter shopping. I ride my bike daily, but have to stop every kilometer or so to show police my Nagoya bike license and registration.

Let's send Bill Clinton to offer an olive branch. If anything he could teach the Hammas guys how to bang their heads, and teach the Israeli soldiers to polish their helmets.

What makes a person permiscuous? Other promiscuous people. Welcome to an adult world where everyone like to get their freak on. Just because you say "I do" to one person doesn't mean you say "I don't" to others.
