    @Hawkeye

    I guess the fans don't know or care what is stupid or silly sounding to a native English speaker

    You mean like 2Pac, 50 Cent, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, Puff Daddy, John 5, etceteras?

    Hope the performance staged at the Palladium helped take their minds off the hoodlums out in the streets and they took a safer route back the drive through town enjoying finer luxuries while the subjects get walloped into paying higher tuition fees.

    Doesn't bother me at all. IMHO, it's old fashioned to expect people not to talk on their cell phones in public places unless there is some kind of danger involved from the use of cellphones. Long distance conversations are a necessary and integral part of daily life these days.

    Here's what Palin said "eight seconds before the mix-up" - “We're not having a lot of faith that the White House is going to come out with a strong enough policy to sanction what it is that North Korea is going to do,”

    Fire at apartment building in Shanghai. Building collapse at Delhi. The Governments out there need to implement safety measures ahead of the fast paced growth for these rising economies.

    Where are the othe tourists? Did they close especially for him?

    No. Why would it be required to close access to a public place just because the President of The United states is visiting. The other tourists are probably all inside the Daibutsu.

    far more Iraqis died than previously acknowledged

    So what. It's difficult to keep exact count. Saddam's gone and Iraq is a free country with a freely elected government.

    The appointment of Valles Garcia as Police Chief has achieved a least one purpose - it's brought the issue to the front pages all over the world. As for Valles Garcia herself, I really hope she succeeds.

    Hey Pastor, I thought you initially wanted to burn a copy of the Quran because "it espouses something other than biblical truth". So what does the supposed promise to move the location of the mosque have to do with that? You being political?

    My guess is that the God of Abraham...who is the patriarch of Judism, Islam and Christianity...is looking down and thinking "What are these people thinking?".

    Exactly my thoughts. This is the time when HE should appear on a piece of toast or prime time television to give us a sign!

    Is alcohol too often a cause of negligence and criminal offence? Naaah.. it's just this guy who needs to be behind bars for drinking yet getting drunk. Let's just keep it legal so we can continue selling the smokes too. Hey kids, the moment you turn twenty a whole new freedom opens up for you!
