According to some of the stroies I have read over the past years that it seems that some lunatics on the streets know how to use them.....not what they are intended for obviously.

I remember going to UENO zoo many moons ago to see the pandas they had at the time. It was in a cement floored cage with no where to roam except sit there and chew on a few bamboo shots. Boy didn't he looked bored!! Even the Japanese people were commenting on how pathetic it was before they squealed how cute he looked and reeled off a dozen photos.

What an amazing life he had. Thankyou for the entertainment you gave. A great singer and a mesmerizing dancer. Your death will catapult your legend status to even greater heights. What is the bet a new "Graceland" appears in the very very near future. Perhaps the company who purchased his ranch will turn it into a museum and rake in the cash just as they did with Elvis.RIP

Gotta love the headline: "New graduates show lack of zeal for jobs and job-hunting".......how about changing it to read: "New graduates showed lack of zeal for their entire educational life prior to job hunting"

Your right with the training times.....why on earth do they have to go through that marathon of passing the ball back and forth up and down the field shouting out hai hai hai hai hai everytime someone touches the ball. Perhaps the coaches could do the teams they are coaching some real justice and watch quality sides train including the wallabies and the all blacks and notice how they also do the basics but with a totally different purpose and certainly not for hours on end. The most successful rugby "league" coaches are the ones who have taken the initiative and flown to the states to learn from another codes training methods before returning and incorporating things into their routine. The Japanese coaches here are too concerned with their players putting in the big hours (quantity) and making big noises without actually doing quality sessions at training. I know John Kirwan has tried to implement things into his training but the problem is that when they finish their rep duties they head back to their respective company teams and fall back into the boring routine.

Japan has to start feeding players abroad if they are ever going to compete at an "A" level in union. Not just one or two players but a heap. Just like they have done in baseball and soccer the experience that the players gain while overseas playing week in week out against top opposition can only make their national side better in the future...worth a try. Too often Japan whips the minnows like Taiwan by a good 60 points and automatically they think they can take on the world. More games against power houses will benefit....that is week to week.

He didn't play for them and he didn't play for us and......the end result is the people available played and the result is as it is....Japan lost. If so and so did play who is to say he wouldn't have pulled a muscle in the first minute and got replaced anyway.........hypothetical situations are amusing aren't they...but the results stand.
