This wouldn't stick of a money grabbing scam by their management group if the albulm wasn't titled SMAP AID and Smap hadn't mentioned the fact that the sale of the album is to help raise funds for recovery efforts in Tohoku. I hope someone in the media hounds the Johnny's Entertainment group endlessly about this. Too bad they don't have something similiar to Anderson Cooper's keeping them honest over here???

“We have hoped to let evacuees return to their ordinary lives as soon as possible. It took five months to finally start the process,” said Goshi Hosono, the cabinet minister in charge of the nuclear crisis. “We will carry this out very cautiously.”

Officials say most of the radiation in the reactor cores leaked out earlier in the crisis and what’s left inside does not pose much danger. TEPCO has been injecting nitrogen into the reactors as a precaution to prevent further hydrogen explosions, said Osamu Suda, a Cabinet Office official in charge of evacuees.

I wonder if both Goshi Hosono and Osamu Suda are both prepared to relocate their lives as well as their families into these areas just to show everyone that they are fully certain all is well!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to both Adam and Ryo. Adam for playing amazing under pressure and Ryo for hanging in there and showing everyone that when he matures he will be up top of the leaderboard as much as the other young guns including Jason Day : who just may be a future number 1 golfer.

Is it because his approval ratings have plummeted?

Oh for crying out loud......can you just buzz off. Why does the media give this guy the time of day? Maybe it would be better if he does become prime minister after all....that way after a month or so, his approval ratings will drop (as they do for all japanese pm's) and he can hopefully resign and just go far far away and annoy others.

Looks like the poor fella has his foot caught under the plastic container. I hope the bears owner is safe. That would certainly light up the childs face to see his/her bear again.

If people find solace in their belief of God during this terrible time who are we to shake our heads and mutter 'damn fool'? It is a great thing that they can find comfort somehow. At least they aren't going around killing other people because they don't believe in the same God they do.

If we follow your logic and God is all powerful, where was he when he was needed?

    Well....Oyama IS alive isn't she?????

I find it sad that the media would have posted countless stories about Ryo's success had he made even the top 3 HOWEVER Matsuyama was the top amateur and his story is more like a footnote.......come on JT pave the way and do some serious reporting and not just following the masses.

they simply should have stopped.....the 2 getting chased that is NOT the police. The fact they decided to hightail it and try to outrun the police was their choice. We could be reading an even more tragic story about how the car ploughed into a family van killing the family as well...but luckily we aren't.

Try getting that close to any US warship. See what happens.

Try getting that close to a Chinese warship and see what happens. If the roles were reversed in this story the outcome would certainly not be the same. My point is that Japan only jump and down and protest and do nothing else. China knows it and the rest of the world know it. China will continue to push the envelope until it falls off the table...and japan will still be protesting.
