There is Climate Change. Climate change has happened for tuousands of years. Thats factual. There is not "Global Warming" at the moment, but Global COOLING. The recently hacked British Scientists` emails proved that they have been manipulating the data. The cheif culprit also expressed pleasure over the death of a "Climate Skeptic" and I think this reveals exactly the kind of people we are dealing with. It is a World Communist Government they want.They only way they can achieve it is to scare people about the need to do something about a problem human beings did not create nor have they any control over. This picture/exhibit is a piece of Science Fiction - like the Theory of Man-made Global Warming. Iy just aint true. There are thousans of scientists whoese voices have been suppressed, and they are not being heard.

The thingabout atheists is, they are extremely intolerant people. They just hate God and anything to do with Him, and they cant stand those who do. Most of the population are not Christians in America and most other countries, but that doesnt stop them having a life and enjoying a nice festival. The majority of people dont know the real meaning of Christmas, or indeed of the Christmas songs and carols, but they enjoy them anyway. I have no qualms about Hanukka or any other "religious " festival. Live and let live. Problem is, the atheists often have a very disagreeable spirit and attitude. Intolerance and downright agression towards anyone of faith. Sad, really. They need to get a life.

s population" and ".reduce childbirth." Gores ideas of the melting icecaps are pure drivel. Why is Greenland called "Greenland?" Because it used to be GREEN. Climate Change has nothing whatsoever to do with the actions of human beings. It is a natural cycle, a natural phenomenon. There is nothing that man can do about it. The data and the computer models these "scientists" use only go back 150 years, and ignore the so-called "Little Ice Age a few centuries ago, and also several periods in history where the earth was a lot warmer. In Roman times, there were vineyards in Scotland and the north of England! There is a definate evil political agenda to curtail our freedoms here. numbskull Unfortinately, you are wrong. People ARE being killed by this scam. Gore and these other data-maniuplating scientists whould be tried before the International Criminal Courts. Thousands have died in several countries because of food shortages caused by the actions of the UN Climate Change Council. These evi;l people, for their own Left-wing political goal of setting up a World Communist Government, have decided that countries like the USA should devote one third of their farmland to probucing "bio fules" thus causing world food prices to double and causing starvation in amny countries. We never hear about the food riots in plafces like Nicaragua - caused as a direct result of this massive global deception. Gore and his "scientist" cronies have a lot to answer for. Bring him to the Courts and try him for fraud and mass murder.

ajaxx Totally agree with you. Climate change there may be, but it is natural, nothing to do with puny mankind. Al Gore needs to be arrested and locked up for fraud. He has made millions from this total scam. The scientists have been lying to create a nonexistent problem and line their own pockets. Copenhagen is a joke. We need MORE CO2 emissions, not less. CO2 is good for the planet. We all breathe out CO2 gases every day of our lives. Wake up, people.

The Swiss people have democratically made a decision, and that is their basic human right. It should be respected. Muslim countries persecute Christians within their borders, and in some extreme cases kill or attack them. Islam is not a tolerant religion, and some of its followers have been guilty of mass murder and mayhem, while shouting a greeting to their god. The Swiss people have quietly said "no" to having the outwards signs of this religion displayed in their country. That is their preogative.

New Year`s/oshogatsu in Japan is SOO boring. Nothing to do, no where to go, and if you do go anywhere it is crowded, exprensive and boring. Japanese TV like this programme? I gave up watching it years ago. Mindless and crass, it is a waste of space. These guys are all talentless nobodies.

Did someone actually write here that "the "etiquette" in Tokyo is pretty good compared to London?" I almost fell off my seat! Where do some of you reside? In some make-believe "everything about Japan is wonderful, just-off-the-boat mentality, science fiction make-believe world?"
Believe me, if you have just arrived here and are still in the "honeymoon period" - you will soon wake up and smell the salarimen! The people I enounter day and daily on Tokyo`s train system are the rudest I have ever encountered. I have been here for a long time, and I remember the days when people here actually still had a few manners. Those days have LONG gone. We are living now in a generation of hedonistic, self-centred, ethnocentric racists.

Another piece of Hollywood rubbish, anc scare-mongering. It seems to have been well made, though, with impressive special effects. However, like its predecessor "The Day After Tomorrow" it is all science fiction, and goodness knows, we get enough science fiction in the news every day with all the doom and gloom associated with the new "Global Warming" mythology/religion. I wonder if that great liar, Al Gore, had any input into this piece of SF? His own piece of science fiction is still doing the rounds, and people are being hoodwinked by it and the entire "Global Warming" crap.

The CHRISTmas lights in Shinjuku are always very impressive, and this year is no exception. Blue lights seem to be "in" at the minute...I dont mind - they are pretty. A job well done, Takashimaya!

Regarding this murdering scumbag who carried out the latest Islamic terrorist attack on American soil, he should face the full punishment that American law can give him. I am sickened by those in the American mass media who are trying to tell us that this maniac was "mentally disturbed." Obama has obviously gone overboard in his desire to please the Japanese people and make himself very popular here. He knows exactly what to say in order to get the Japanese people on his side.
I was interested to see him bowing so low to the Japanese Emperor. He did the same with the Saudi King, but he arrogantly refused to bow to Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom. I read in one report that he patted her on the back. This inconsistency speaks louder than his pandering speeches. It should warn those of you yet to be convinced that really, Obama is not to be trusted.
There is a bigger picture here. Its all leading up to the Great Deception to hit the world next month in Copenhagen, ie the setting up of a World Government, which will be communist in nature. Obama is going to sign away the sovereignty of his country.

My first reaction to this was "what a boring title for a book!" Then when I read the rest of the review, it put me completely off any desire to read it. The author sounds like a typical obnoxious upstart from the West coming to Japan to live a hedonistic life without a thought for anyone but himself, in ways that would neither be tolerated nor allowed in his home country. I think it would make me physically ill to read it.

I am not American (thank God) but if I was, I would be opposing Obama`s healthcare plan. I think it is disgusting that a man like Obama, who claims to have a Christian faith, is pro-abortion. I would certainly not like my tax dollars to be used for the murder of innocent children.
