Yet another example of a totalitarian government trying to impose its ideas on the masses. free Speech, freedom of movement, and now taking away people`s right to go outdoors late at nights. The end of civil liberties as we know it. What next - a nighttime curfew in roder to…

Excellent article, JT! Air fares at the moment are outrageous. What wasnt mentioned here is the fact that recently British Airways announced HUGE profits - partly because they are ripping off passengers with outrageous Fuel Tax charges. I wont fly with them again.

Why dont Japanese people speak Engrish better than they do? Because many of them are brainwashed into thinking that they cant speak English, because of being Japanese, and therefore "unique" in the world, with a brain that is different from the rest of the human race, with different stomachs and…

Wasnt Ishihara with them? Sounds like the kind of crazy, mindless thing that he would also do, wasting taxpayers` money flying around a few odd rocks in the middle of the ocean, claiming that they belong to Mother Japan. How sick and how stupid can these wackos get?

I know what this guy did was not right....but reading between the lines, there is a deeper side to this saga. He said he had contacted the "elderly care and human rights departments (sic)" but they ignored him. Then the people in those departments denied knowledge of him. Could it…

Reading this article doesnt make sense. It appears to be a typical J government "plan" which has neither bones, structure, or guts. In fact, a "plan" without a plan, and without any thinking - typical of the J government, and especially the Education Ministry, unfortunately.

    If they want the education…

A shinkansen train is not allowed to roll because of graffiti painted on the side of it? Get a life! Of course, this is Japan, where everything has to be perfect. Of course, a gaijin criminal was responsible - like they are for all the crimes in Japan these days.
