Three cheers for Sarah Palin. She is a woman who speakes the truth. I agree totally with her commonets on Obamas "healthcare" ideas. They are evil, and I am glad she had the courage to speak out against Obamas madness. Under the Obama ideas, people will judged according to their contribution to society in order to qualify for healthcare. The awful fact is that the evil scourge of abortion in America, the murder of thousands of unborn babies everyday, remains untouched by Obama, who claims to be a Christian, while he instigates this evil healthcare plan. if I was American, I would be fighting this evil tooth and nail.

How can you "bring politics to the streets" in Japan, when there are no real politics in japan to begin with? Just stupid "politicians" wearing white gloves for some reason best known to themselves, yelling into white-hanky -covered mikes things like "Im Tanaka - please treat me well" How can that be described as "politics in the streets?" Its a freak show circus.

Just re-read this article and I see that the LDP aims to give the Japanese people the "highest percapita invome in the world" in 10 yearstime. That has got to be one of the funnisest things I have ever read on this website. The LDP are so far removed from reality, its amazing. In 10 years time, the Japanese economy will probably sink to No. 10 in the world, with the rise of China and India, Korea, the US, UK, EU and many other countries far surpassing it. I havent seen any Japanese politicians with enough wit to prevent Japan`s inevitable decline.

The LDP wouldnt know what a manifesto was if it found it floating in its collective Miso Soup. They are a collection of dinosaurs, out of touch with the real world. They are already headed for defeat, and now they offer the general public of Japan this amazing st of mindless promises, real vote killers. The idea of raising the Consumption Tax will be the final nail in the LDPs coffin. Good riddance to this coalition of nutcases come August 31st.

Obama and his "democrats" will be the ruination of America. Just wait and see. His healthcare plan is neither democratic nor is it a good plan. People will be given no choice, and the good parts of the present health system will be destroyed. Obama is still not clear on who exactly will pay for his wonderful plan.

This book is total drivel. The author quotes the Japanese author of the book "The Japanese Brain" which has long been discredited as mostly ethnocentric rubbish. One of the infamous sentences in that book by Dr Tsunoda reads that "it is dangerous for Japanese people to speak English, since they are using a differnet side of their brains when they do so and are therefore in danger of getting epilepsy!" This is a laughable book, written by an eccentric professor who himself seems to lack brain power.

Yuri Otani You have a very strange view of Japanese and world history, particularly in relation to the Second World War. No doubt this is due in large part to your education in Japanese schools, where you were force-fed Japanese Rightist propaganda in the shameful history textbooks which deny the atrocities of the Imperial Japanese Army and paint the Americans and their Allies as the villains. Perhaps one day you will come to know the truth, which shall indeed set you free.
For your information, the people killed in Hawaii by the infamous attack on Pearl Harbour were not all servicemen and women. Also for your information, the kamikaze pilots were not "trying to defend their homes from attacks by ruthless Americans." Those poor brainwashed young men were acting in obedience to their evil taskmasters in the Imperial Japanese Army. They were consumed by hatred of foreign people, and driven by the evil State Shintoism of the day, and were no different from the modern-day Islamist extremist terrorist suicide bombers who have carried out such diabolical acts of butchery in recent times.

No matter what you say or think, the vast majority of Americans, British, Australian, New Zealanders, Canadian and many other nationalities still think that the atomics bombings which brought the Japanese to surrender in 1945 were a necessary evil, and completely justified in order to save countless thousands of Japanese and foreign lives. They worked.

The guy is a nutcase and should be sacked. He has no place in dealing with the education of kids, but is just a despotic brainless nutjob.

The atomic bombings were sad events in the hostory of Japan and the world, but were inevitable at the time, and saved the lives of countless thousands of Japanese and Allied people. The evil militarists in Japan during that time would have gladly sacrificed all the Japanese people rather than surrendering to the "barbarians" as they saw us. It was sad, but it was necessary to drop those bombs and bring to an end a terrible war. Sadly, there are those in Japan today who try to prevent Japanese young people from knowing the truth about the evil that was the Japanese militarists of that time, and try to hide from them the evil deeds they committed and were continuing to commit that made it necessary to drop those bombs.

Sarah Palin will make a great President of the USA. However, she will have a lot of work to do to repair the damage and the mess left behind when the Obama shambles clears out and the Democrats are routed at the polls next time. Quite frankly, I wonder what will be left of America after 4 years of Obama madness.

Its not "Myannmar" its BURMA. I refuse to use the name which the evil Generals use for the land of Burma. I hope that soon the people will rise up and overthrow this evil regime. There should be dompnstrations on the streets around the world in support of this brave woman Suu Kyi, on Friday.
