I hope the Democrats, and Obama, get throttled in this election. In 2012, when Barak leaves the White House, maybe he can get a job on the panel of American Idol. He really has lowered the Office of President of the USA by appearing like some sort of has-been movie star on all sorts of shows.

Im shocked, but delighted, to revisit this Thread and see that "Global Warming Theory" now appears to be the majority opinion here, and elsewhere. The whole charade has had a lot of bad press recently around the world. People seem to be waking up to the reality that the whole thing is a big scam, without basis in facts. There are scientists out there who have been manipulating aqnd ignoring data, so that it supports there political agenda. We all need funds to live on, these misguided "scientists" are no exception. Maybe now we can all move on, and put this nonsense behind us. CO2 gases are not evil, they are necessary for the survival of the Planet, and of Mankind. We need more, and not less, CO2 gases in the atmosphere. Of course, we wont get World Governments admitting they were wrong, but I hope they drop their plans for "carbon taxes" and other such drivel.

Of course these people are celebrating. The rest of us are having to endure cuts in salaries, job uncertainties and threatened pensions. These tree-hugging nutcases, in the name of their new "environmental religion" which is a spin-off from the false anthropogenic global warming religion, have just awarded themselves huge increases in funding/salaries. A group of people with over-inflated egos, celebrating their delusional self importance, just as gaijinfo (above) said. Im all for protecting the biodiversity of species and the environment, but these people have other, ulterior motives.

This news about a projected Republican resurgence and victory in the Midterm Elections is the best news Ive heard in quite a while. Lets hope the Polls are right, and that in 2 years` time Obama will exit the White House, too. After that, maybe American can get back on course again. The Tea Party Movement have done a great job, wakening Americans to the dangers of Marxism and Totalitarianism under the Obama Regime.

The Midterm Elections will be the beginning of the end for President Obama. He will not get a second term in the White House. Hallelujah!

The sight of that flag in the picture gave me shivers down my spine. Then the feeling was replaced by outrage and anger that that flag is still being flown and used here, despite the association with Japan`s evil past.

Interestng to read that Clinton is going to places where Obama avoids. I do not think that Obama will get a second term in the White House. I hope for the sake of America, and the world, that he doesnt. I also hope that the Democrats get throttled in a couple of weeks and some sanity returns to American politics.

Not another one! What IS it with Japanese men and wonen`s knickers? I heard of an identical case like this involving a friend in Kyushu. Is this now some dort of perv pandemic hitting Japan? Can we expect more of these fishing line cases?

We constantly read of incidents relating to Womens underwear in Japan. Is there something missing, or warped, in the Japanese Male Psyche? I dont know of any other country where the men seem so obsessed by womens knickers.

I find most of the "service" in Japan dull and robotic, without heart and soul. I find the endless parroting of set phrases annoying and frustrating. Like being asked at 5 minutes to closing time if I want to eat the large loaf of bread I just placed infort of the cashier if I want to "eat it here, or take it home." I usually resist the temptation to tell her not to ask such damn stupid questions. Another pet peeve is to be handed long straws with the 1 litre packs of milk I have just set before the cashier. Despite the mindless repetition of meaningless phrases that have been learnt from their manuals, the service is at least polite, if dead. Overall it is probably better than the UK, where I come from, but at least in the UK you know that the person in front of you is vaguely human.

Im looking forward to flying internationally from Haneda and ditching Narita. On a point of correction about this article, though. The new "Skyliner" service to Narita is not all its cracked up to be. I used it in September, and it took over an hour between Narita and Nippori. I was So disappointed. Only some of the services are fast, and as usual, it doesnt begin departures from Narita until after 8am. Totally useless.

Obama makes me sick. The last distastrous decade? I wonder what sort of legacy he will leave behind, or will there be anything left of America at all, after his regime fades into history? The sooner, the better. Roll on November, and roll on November 2012.

Some good news, for a change, despite some of the hateful comments here. I dont think that this guy is making too much money as a preacher, from reading this article. Give thanks for a changed life - the Power of the Gospel at work.

There can be no peace with Hamas. Of course, everyone would like to see "peace" in the Middle East, but frankly, I dont think its possible. It will always be Israel vs the Arab/Muslim nations. Most of the Muslim nations want to see the Israeli nation wiped off the face of the Earth. That is the leader of Iran`s main purpose in life. Obama sticking his oar into the pool can only cause more damage. He is the first anti-Israeli president of the USA. Hopefully, he also be the last. Obama is becoming more arrogant, and more boring, with each successive utterance. Same old, same old, and boring. "Yes, we can," should be changed to "We havent the ability."

Currently 45% here think Global Warming is just a theory, not based on sound evidence, and 46% believe it is factual. Add to those figures the 9% of people who "don`t know" and you get a majority of people who are considered to be "Skeptics!" Thats the best news I have heard today, and in a long time.

I am not an American, but from my viewpoint, Obama and the Cemocrats are a disaster. I think it is great that America now has the maturity to elect someone of any ethnic origins, but Obama is a disaster. To me, he talks like a Marxist and is also beginning to act like one. Anyone who disagrees with him gets the boot. He and the Democrats seem to control massive swathes of the US mass media, and certainly Hollywood is in their pockets. The latter speaks volumes about the state of America today.

I see a once great nation gpoing down the plughole under the Obama regime. I sincerely hope the Democratic Party gets the trouncing it deserves in November, followed in 2 yearstime by the ousting of the "Great Leader" himself. A president who sees to it that a British teenager is banned for life from his country for daring to criticise the President in an email to the White House is not a president that the worlds greatest democracy (formerly) should have.
