The Mayor of Taiji can try to defend the barbaric way the dolphins are killed all he likes. It wont wash on the international community, not just "Westerners." The Japanese have a massive inferiority complex, and also a massive superiority complex, at the same time. Of course they wont listen to outsiders. They never have, and never will. They are a law unto themselves, and view their culture and their traditions as "unique." The resat of the civilised world just views this as barbarism.

I have no idea what "religion" Obama is. I know he has Marxist tendencies, and I know that he says he is a "Christian." I would love to know what his definition of a Christian is. Somehow, I dont think it is the same as the Bible@s definition. I know that he goes out of his way to denegrade America to the Muslim world, and he talks nonsense about Islam`s "!contribution" to the United States. I dont trust him, and I beleive thye sooner he vaxates the White House, the better for America and the World.

This news was inevitable. Now watch as India edges in to displace Japan even further down the list. Then watch as, under Obama, America loses its place too. Changed times.

The Ground Zero Mosque building, with Obamas support, will mean the Democrats will get well and truly throttled in November, followed by another throttling for the !"Great Leader" in 2 years time. Thank God.

Excellent article. Spot on about the state of America under the rotten Obama Administration. Its not Socialism thats on the rise in America under Obama, its enforced Marxism. The world has indeed been turned upside down.

Whether he is Muslim r not, I do not know. I have trouble considering him to be a Christian, though. Do Americans really know anything about their Great Leader?

Taka According to your reasoning, anyone opposed to the building of this mosque near Ground Zero is a racist. What utter bunkum.
For a start, over 70% of Americans, and 53% of New Yorkers, are against this thing. Does that mean they are all racists? In addition, you seem to have some racial issues yourself, judging from your comments re white people.

The building of this proposed mosque is grossly insensitive, and spits in the faces of the victims and their families, for starters. You can dress it up as "showing tolerance" all you like, but it is simply tthe Political Correctness cancer which is eating American and Western society these days. Obama and his political correctness towards Islam will destory America.

Obama is bending over backwards to placate Muslims. This is another example. The building of a huge Islamic Centre, featuring a large mosque, close to Ground Zero, is si,ple intolerable. Its like building a statue of Hitler beside a former Nazi Concentration Camp. I hope the Americans rise up and stop this from happening, and I also hope they give the Democratic Party a thrashing at the polls in November. I also hope that this is Obama`s first and last term as President.

Obama also talked about "not only tolerance, but respect." Excuse me? I can have neither tolerance nor respect for an ideology that encourages its members to refer to unbelievers as "infidels" and to go out and blow themselves and "infidels" to pieces.

Obama made this disgraceful announcement at a dinner in the White House celebrating the start of Ramadan. He bends over backwards to be politically correct, and the politically correct disease will bring America down. Over 70% of Americans oppose the building of an Islamic Center and Mosque near Ground Zero. Over 53% of New Yorkers oppose it. Obama has no love for America nor for the Will of the Majority. Perhaps that is because of his Marxist leanings, and perhaps his desire to bend over backwards to placate Islam is because his formative years were spent in a Muslim country.

The decision to allow this Islamist Center to be built near Ground Zero is unacceptable to the families of the 9/11 victims and also to many more people like myself who are not even Americans. They have the freedom, under American law, to build their places of worship elsewhere. Obama`s "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable" beggars belief. Maybve so, Barak, if you happen to be Muslim. Sadly, the same ""freedom" seems to be being taken away from Christians in America, these days, though. In American schools and colleges Christians are not allowed to read the Bible, pray, or even say "God Bless You" at their Graduation ceremonies these days. Where is the "religious freedom" there?

Obama is a disaster for America, and also for the world.

Was the dropping of te atomic bombs necessary? Yes and No.
Yes, because it took that to get the pig-headed Imperial Administration of the time to finally surrender or be wiped off the face of the Earth. No, because if th militarists led by Hirohito had care at all about their people, they would have surrendered and prevented it.

What exactly does President Obama know about soldiers, armies and leading an Army? Was he even born in the USA? He certainly did not grow up in that country, and spent his formative years growing up in a foreign country. How can he say with authority when the US Army should begin or cease its role in any situation?

I fear for America under this man`s leadership. He listens to no-one. He is arrogant, gets all the air time he wants, yet no-one dare question his intelligent or his judgement. Look what happened to the best General the USA ever had, quite recently, because he dared question Barak Hussein Obama!

We will wait and see the results of Obama`s decision to put the troops back in barracks. Time will tell, but as a non-American, I have no confidence in this man or any of his decisions, which ultimately affect us all.

I also have no problems with legal hook-ups between same sex couples. However, to call it "marriage" is just wrong. It is wrong because that is God`s Law, the Law of the Universe. It is also the moral law of practially every country on the Planet. Marriage is between one man and one woman, period. It is an institution for the proCREATION of the human species. Same sex couples naturally cannot and will not ever be able to do that.

Service in Japanese restaurants isbetter than in the West in many cases, but I get tired of being served by brainless, robotic-like creatures without any humanity, and who tirelessly repeat the same mindless sentences. Better to have real robots than these creatures without personality.

Yes, Weather Forecasters always get it right, dont they? Bottom line is that "man made global warming" is indeed horsepoop. There is more evidence for global cooling, and the Climategate Scientists in England recently admitted as much, as they tried to cover up and hide other data. Al Gore`s error -filled movie made him a lot of money, and he spent over $4 million on a waterfront condominium in San Francisco, one of the cities he said would disappear when sea levels rose higher because of his "global warming" theology. Talk about hypocrisy!

The BBC has also been one of the main propagators of the new religion. For example, they filmed what they called "melting icecaps" in the Artic, during July - high summer up there, when you would expect a bit of melting ice! The whole thing is one giant swindle, in order to propagate world socialism and higher taxes.

Good news. Man made Global Warming is baloney. Im not paying any of my hard-earned dosh towards "Green Taxes," "Carbon offsetting" or any of the other new, meaningless vocabulary you care to use. The entire hypothesis of Anthropogenic Global Warming is based on flawed science, dating back only a couple of hundred years and ignoring the Middle Ages Little Ice Age and also the Medieval Warm Period. There has been a lot of negative publicity in recent times about so-called "Man Made Global Warming," and rightly so. More and more people are not "skeptical" about this flawed theory, but are rather "unbelievers" in what has rapidly been becoming a new religion. I am glad the US Senate have thrown this bunkum out. There are far more important issues facing the world today, like how to survive this Great Depression were are in.

I love the nice Japanese music which is played by my gomi truck early in the morning twice a week. Its pleasant, and it lets me know they are there and its time to get up. Other than that, I hate all the others going around, disturbing the peace with their incessant meaningless whining. They will never be banned in Japan, though, because of the Japanese attitude of "shoganai."

I am not American, but I support the Governor of Arizona 100%. I wish we had similar laws in my country. Political Correctness is a fata diseas, which needs to be stomped out. I hope they fight and win this case. Its really about freedom and democracy. Obamaland is becoming an undemocratic socialist republic.
