Interesting. You can almost tell from the comments who's been here for more than five years…

An act of children. The rightists of Japan, another group of children, are green with envy…

"redacted - what does "Alpine Cretinism" have to do with this case, as zaichik rightly pointed out?"
Again, read the article, compare with other sources and consider - -
"AMSTETTEN, Austria (CNN) -- Three children freed from a cellar in which their mother had been imprisoned and raped by her own father for 24 years had never seen daylight, police in Austria have confirmed..."
"...Dickens had been overwhelmed, much earlier in the century, by Guggenbuhl's ability to transform sufferers from
sporadic cretinism',stunted withered skeletons' deemed to be idiots, into children heading `rapidly towards perfect development'. (3) To do this he simply moved them from the deep shadow of alpine valleys into the sunlight at the summit of the Abendberg, and in so doing recognized the significance of environment to the ability of a child to grow."http://goliath.ecnext.com/coms2/gi_0199-1562484/From-stunted-child-to-new.html

"But hey, no doubt in a minute we'll have redacted come on and, true to form and taking a page from his loser president, will blame all this on the British, or Buddhists, or something equally unrelated."
Bush's detractors constantly point out he polls as low as 30 percent.
Congress is at 20 percent.
So I guess I blame the media here :)

"Bush to visit Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia"
I reckon it is to thank Saudi Arabia and Egypt for the tacit approval and support they gave to Israel in the IDF's most recent battle against Iran's proxy forces, Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Nasrallah has admitted that Hezbollah have Iranian support.

Saudis are Sunni, H'bollah are Shia, and Egypt seems to be back in its more nationalist phase.
Let em fight and cancel each other out.
Don't care if it takes billion$, it will be worth it.

"The visit is anchored on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the modern state of Israel, where Bush will celebrate “close ties” between the United States and its staunch ally."
Already 60?
Seems like it was just yesterday that the 400,000 strong Israeli army completely humiliated the 1 million Arab forces.
What losers.
"Al Naqba," indeed.

Let Reverend Wright defend himself.
He went before the Nat'l Press Club the other day.
Ya almost feel sorry for Obama. He was supposedly clever enough to know that Iraq had no WMDs, but he sat in Rev Wright's church for 20 years oblivious to how hate-filled and radical his preacher was? He brought his daughters to hear this guy shriek at the gov't and "white people" week in and week out?
"Speaking [ Apr 27 ] before an audience that included Marion Barry, Cornel West, Malik Zulu Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party and Nation of Islam official Jamil Muhammad, Wright praised Louis Farrakhan, defended the view that Zionism is racism, accused the United States of terrorism, repeated his view that the government created the AIDS virus to cause the genocide of racial minorities, stood by other past remarks ("God damn America") and held himself out as a spokesman for the black church in America.
In front of 30 television cameras, Wright's audience cheered him on as the minister mocked the media and, at one point, did a little victory dance on the podium. It seemed as if Wright, jokingly offering himself as Obama's vice president, was actually trying to doom Obama; a member of the head table, American Urban Radio's April Ryan, confirmed that Wright's security was provided by bodyguards from Farrakhan's Nation of Islam."

As compared to who - Hillary?
If you read his "autobiography" there's a good argument in saying Obama was uncomfortable around "black people."

His old pappy named him well.

Ms Colmar,
It wasn't just any old reactor Israel took out, it was one named for your former leader, the oleaginous Jacques Chirac, who was such a good friend to Saddam Hussein.

Proof that Ms Colmar knows nothing about America:
It's "liberals" like Congressman Charlie Rangel who want to reinstate the draft. http://edition.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/01/07/rangel.draft/
