japan's bid for the olympic are doomed from the beginning because this racist tokyo governor and tokyo or any other japanese city should make another bid for 2020 games because i think it will be a straight fight between asian continent and north american cities. japanese cities biggest rival for the 2020 games will be indian cities like new delhi and mumbai, in my opinion. anyway, kudos to rio and i will definitely be there!!

USNinJapan2: the notion is, defensive shield system are often covert for offensive system as well. imagine if all military hardware, software and personnel are deployed for defending purposes what makes you think they wont shift to offensive mode in times of need?

USNinJapan2 : defensive missile shield are defensive in nature but they are also designed to be offensive. if it can shoot an incoming hostile missile it can also shoot bombers and fighters within its radar and besides that, range and radius can be increased and enlarged at will. no wonder russians feel threaten and that's the reason why they install their own "defensive" system as well.

USA's economy is in tatters for years to come, most investors will give south america a miss, europe is very protective of their economic boundries, most of african continent are rather unstable and arabian countries has got its limitations, so naturally the choice goes to asia. with china and india's economic engines goes into higher gear, i dont see mr murdoch business acumen wrong.

i think ultimately USA are afraid of seeing a united asia, hence the CIA's conspiracy of trying to make asian country quarreling with each other all the time. the master of divide and rule, and i salute CIA for this.

to tonyUS, with due respect, where did you get the idea of USA building up the economy of china? my time in china tells me chinese are industrious, hardworking and risktakers and their success are primarily due to their own hardwork, albeit with some bad apple thrown in thus giving the chinese product some bad name. i guess tonyUS has not been to china and see how the country works and it is purely his own speculations.

his holiness should not be so ambitious on this issue. the chinese knows CIA wants to control tibet because of the limitless minerals in this regions and they know china will be their no.1 rivals in the future.so they are using the DL as a pawn to push for independence in order to control the vast tract of land behind china. nobody wants an enemy operating at the backdoor.
