"The conservative and fashion-dinosaurs are criticizing her costume"
It's not about old Japan VS. new Japan, the costume was ugly, pure and simple. On top of that, it's completely classless.
They didn't have to go floor length, it could have ended right above the knee and look just as good.

For the record, we don't even know if the woman mentioned in the story is the mother. They just said a young woman wasn't feeling well, not that it looked liked she gave birth.

Okay the pic is about the car, but they give more attention to what the model is wearing.
And to be fair i'm sure it wasn't her choice to wear that coat.

I think some people want to see only the bad in japan. I see a nice afternoon in Ginza, a man walking with his child, he's giving his child space to explore and at the same time, protecting him from harm. I see a woman out on an afternoon stroll with her dogs, she's obeying the laws and cleaning up after them. I see people walking down the street, shopping, talking, seeing the sights, have a wonderful time on a nice summer day.
it's sad that a nice scene like that has to be bashed by people who only want to see the negative.

The cop did his job, i don't blame him for not apologizing. Gates was a fool pure and simple, and the only person who's making this about race is him.

The sad thing is she's already a beautiful young woman, why is she cheapening herself like this. There are many ways to be sexy and classy and this isn't one of them.

You people bitch when the cops don't get the job done and you bitch when they do! It's no win for those guys. In all this complaining you guys forgot one thing: It was 4 in the morning! It may have been too dark to get a clear shot. Besides, the story doesn't say if batons wasn't used.
The cops did a good job, the arrested the supect without the loss of human life or monetary damages, they may have got hurt, but that's part of the job, they knew and understood that going in.

Okay let me get this straight: This man is seeing a woman 22 years younger than him since march of this year, is already talking about marrying her by the end of the year at the earliest, and has already been married and divorced twice? Run away Riko Higashio, run away!

It doesn't matter what she does or what she was wearing, she has the right to ride the train without being groped.
No matter where you go, there's always gonna be the image of sexy women, after all, sex sells, but just because you see it on T.V. doesn't means that all women should be treated as sex objects. The man is guilty no matter what spin you want to put on it, and to blame the young lady because of her job is ridiculous.
As for why it took 10 minutes, the train could have been crowded and she couldn't be sure if he was touching her or not, once the crowd thinned out and he was still touching her, she realized what was going on and stopped him.

hoserfella, they had lots of hits in the 90's as well. They were a big group, key word being were, I don't think they even put out a album this decade.
And noborito, I have to ask, what did you first comment mean?

lordomni I was talking about rasing kids and schools in my post. Maybe I should have been more clear.
And it dosen't sound like Japan is a great country in fuguyoutoo's eyes.

I honestly can't say if it okay or not, i don't live there, and don't know anyone who went to school there. I'm sure every country has good points and bad points, it depends where you live. The countryside in japan might be better than a big city in the US. on the other side of the coin, a big city in japan might be worse than a big city in the US. Location, location, location.
But fuguyoutoo, if you hate japan so much why in the hell are you there?

It's like this, The story says rape, it didn't say a customer skipped out on the bill. For people to assume that is just wrong, if it comes out that was the case, okay, talk about it then.
Besides if he kicked in the door, wouldn't there evidence of that?

What I want to know is why everyone is claiming it was a threesome and he didn't pay? NOWHERE in the story does it say he was a customer. Just because the women were sex workers doesn't mean they don't deserve the same amount of justice. I'll admit, calling the cops four hours later sounds iffy, but given the responds here,, they probably felt they wouldn't be believed. Until the facts come out, call it what it is: an alleged rape.

HonestDictator, I didn't mean that anyone who thinks of themselves as a woman should be seen as one, I was talking about the ones who went all the way to have the changes to become one.
I do understand what you were saying though, but it would be just as hard for them to used the men's room, especially if they no longer look like one.

It's a shame. if they want to be referred to as women, then they're women. it's as simple as that. Hell they paid the money to be women, they should have the title.
