I think there is a move to hold people accountable for what they post on the internet in several countries (some girl killed herself over mean spirited remarks on her myspace page). This is an interesting precedent.
Rest in peace. I wish there were more outrage here over crime victims instead of engaging in unfounded hearsay about what Japanese males are doing in the Phillipines, etc. etc. At any rate, I wish his family closure and this won't negatively affect Jp business people from investing and working…
This is exactly what I was referring to in previous posts. Fuld feels "horrible" about what happened? His arrogance and actions (and inactions) resulted in the collapse of a legendary financial institution and destroyed the lives of so many. And for this he was compensated handsomely.

This is the correct thing to do. Obviously as this melanine scare has spread throughout the globe, it simply cannot be blamed on extremist actions on the part of Japanese officials. It has nothing to do with bribery or payoffs either. If that were the case then all countries affected…
This has less to do with Jp society (as per usual) than with the manager and his gross negligence. He should be criminally prosecuted for his actions. If an alarm goes off but then gets cut off (other tenants besides the manager stated that the alarms went off), it's normal…
