These are good ideas and plans to revitalize the area. Little Tokyo has been getting a few new shopping areas here and there but it's time to bring back the flavor of its heyday. Little Tokyo is an important cultural enclave to Japanese Americans and it would be unfortunate if it went the way of other ethnic areas like Little Italy. Great for all of them.

Probably doesn't play much at all, much like other societies where the influence of religion has decreased (with maybe the exception of radical islam).

At the least Mccain's inactions have encouraged the racist crazies to come out of the woodwork. His pathetic response to a lady at a rally that called Obama an "Arab" was one of the most asinine things I have ever heard. Only recently has he and his campaign half heartedly "spoke out" against the racist and ignorant hate.

Mccain/palin, by a landslide. Their actions (and inactions) have contributed to an increasingly hostile and racist atmosphere amongst their followers. Really embarrasing for the world to see their followers calling Obama an Arab, racism, labelling him a "terrorist," and threatening him with death.

A rather weak attempt at defending Obama's honor in replying to that ignorant "Arab" slur. Interesting that it took him this long to even respond to all this hatred and ignorance. If mccain can't even do it halfway decent, then he shouldn't say anything at all.

I hate to keep saying this, but truly this has no end in sight as long as coalition forces are in there. These tit for tat and ethnic cleansing was a direct result of the invasion, unfortunately.

Jp girls as picture of the day and only 8 responses so far? Something is not right, while it is a nice action shot, apparently this isn't enough to spark huge excitement here.
