Very sad, another high profile suicide of celebrity in S.K. Surely this is world news as it happened in S.K. Paul Newman for example was world news as he transcended entertainment. Looks like suicide has started to creep into other nations too not that it never existed before. Sad, rest in peace.

Well Atlanta had an Olympics in 1996. Tokyo has not had summer olympics since 1964. They deserve it.

    Go Japan.

Good example Betzee, while this is sickening, particularly the eagerness to take pictures, by no means is this exclusive to British youth.

Well news has just broke with the allegations that Beijing officials were asked by this company in question weeks prior to the Olympics to 'hush up' the scandal, so as not to negatively impact the Olympics.

Indeed this gets worse and worse, government cover up deliberately risking lives for the sake of image. Nothing else compares at all.

Disgusting. Glad to know people here so far have been unanimous in their condemnation of this person, with no 'extraneous' circumstances. No complaints of unfairly targeting the military here either. Kudos.

Great news. Hand over control, all of it, to the Iraqis. Let them fight and die for their country, let the Iraqi government pay from their coffers of billions, not the U.S. taxpayer.

    Bring them home.

This is gonna be a good one, going to grab the popcorn and watch. This will be more fun than a dozen 'Judge Judy' episodes.

The trickiest, not to mention the dumbest question asked by 99 percent of interviewees, is 'Where do you see yourself from now in 5 years.' Huh? What kind of asinine question is that? In fact that question was voted the worst interview question in a recent article not too long ago. Shows total lack of imagination, such a question is probably given as 'interview question ideas for potential candidates' on some employee website.

Just unbelievably mind boggling and sickening. No other country compares to the Chinese manufacturers at this point. No one. They are one of the biggest rejects from the FDA for their dangerous products. The reach of their contaminated products has extended all over the globe.

    Simply sickening.

Great for her, I would love to see video of her wonderful singing. I'm sure the audience was thrilled too to see such a classy lady.

One thing though, I could be wrong but I don't think she's the first person of asian descent to perform at the Apollo. I believe there were several asians (of American descent) that performed at the Apollo theater, albeit for the 'Showtime at the Apollo' program. One was a Chinese American singer, the other was a Chinese American comedian. I can't remember their names but will have to check it out.

Moeller added that “a secure and stable Africa is very, very much in U.S strategic interests.”

Indeed, West Africa’s Gulf of Guinea already supplies more crude oil to the U.S. than the Persian Gulf.

Indeed. All those suffering souls and inhumane atrocities in places like Dafur and the U.S. government couldn't care less. Yet the minute oil supplies are remotely threatened or the prospect of oil fields is mentioned, all of a sudden you have 'Africa Command.'

    Un-freaking-believable.

“We were two women in my section,” Ryoko tells Spa! “The other was young and very pretty. Our boss showed her every favoritism. Frankly, it got to me.”

Gee, a young and very pretty worker was shown favoritism over a less attractive worker. Wow, this must be the first time that such a thing has ever happened in the world of employment, anywhere in the world.

Not denying sexual harrasment and labor law enforcement can be a joke at times in Japan, but sometimes you have to take things with a grain of salt.

But nice "revenge" on her employer story.
