  Interesting that there are no responses for this. When this happens in Japan it would generate over 100 responses about how xenophobic Japanese government/society is. But as it is "only" Singapore here, quite striking to see no interest.

  Well if I had a family member abducted by another country and never knew what happened to them, for sure I'll be bitter and hope there's some resolution or at the least a definitive answer. It's not like Japan's the only country where its citizens have disappeared in another country…
