So many Rush Limbaugh fans and officianados here. Fascinating. I think I take in a total of about 60 minutes a year, via blogs and YouTube. What is it about his views that makes such compelling listening for so many JT posters? - and not a few them ineligible to vote in US elections...

But I can see how, if you're from a country where participatory democracy and free speech are dead, the Limbaugh phenomenon must fascinate.

Why pay to listen to Limbaugh when there are all kinds of free podcasts - Levin, Medved, Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Praeger, IBD, Wall Street Journal, recordings of the Federalist Papers...

I get the impression that on this site it's only non-American Lefties who fork out the Yen for el Rushbo.

Poor Iran, just can't get any respect. They invite Sean Penn to one of their state-sponsored hatefests in Teheran, ten thousand militants shrieking "death to America, death to Israel," and how does he repay them? - he goes back to the US to portray Harvey Milk in a movie which wins him the academy award.

Love him or hate him Limbaugh is the most-widely heard voice of the right in America for now. Levin, Hugh Hewitt, Laura Ingraham and Dennis Prager will never be targeted the way Obama and his goons, true to their hero Saul Alinsky, are going to make, in the age of the internet, going after a radio talk show host priority number one. Exactly when did "liberals" become so fearful of that which they couldn't sanction or control?

I suspect most of Limbaugh's non-American detractors here have never listened to more than ten or fifteen minutes of his broadcasts. Not that it matters, judging from their ignorance on matters of US politics they probably wouldn't understand half of the issues he goes into.

Interestingly, only Oprah reaches a wider audience. It is pretty safe to say she represents mainstream "liberal" Democrat America.

What a laugh this is. Arab and Iranian TV regularly feature the most obscenely racist portrayals of Jews and Xtians. It is the moral relativism and the self-loathing of the cultural Left in the West that encourages Iran, Saudi Arabia and the various failures of Islamic social engineering around the world in their completely one way understanding of "tolerance."

When you see that ex-lobbyists fill this administration it's pretty clear that "lobbyist" now means anyone who opposes stealth socialism.

Obama doesn't care, but our Canadian allies are just itching to have a go at Iran. Their war-mongering PM has even gone and branded them as "evil".

"It concerns me that we have a regime with both an ideology that is obviously evil, combined with a desire to procure technology to act on that ideology," Harper said, as reported in the newspaper's online edition late Friday.

Eminent liberal journalist Robert Scheer on a recent NPR show, giving voice to his regrets about supporting Obama-

"I don't think the idea of nationalizing, as it's now being called — which means bailing out these banks, setting them straight, then letting them go private again, which is the model that everybody is using, and the people who get screwed are the people whose retirement funds had common or preferred shares and they get wiped out, and these bankers come out richer than ever at the other end — that's not a leftist idea and it's not socialism. This is what we used to, in Comparative Economic Systems, call fascism. It's putting government at the service of the big financial interests. That's what happened in Italy, that's what happened in Germany, that's what happened in Japan."

Annette Bening, like most celebutards, thinks that if she dons the hijab (which she dutifully did, like a good dhimmicrat) and praises Iran for its 'culture', all will be like new and the 'the fist' will no longer be 'clenched.'

Moderator: Please do not use meaningless words like "celebutards." They lower the level of discussion and reflect badly on yourself.

I predict that an observable trend will emerge on the forums of the internet's busiest political sites - when foreign support and mindless cheerleading for Obama exceeds or even replaces domestic Democrat support, that particular issue will invariably become a failure or a setback for Obama or a victory for his opponents.

Even Obama's chief "vetter", Gregory Craig, has also turned out to be a tax cheat.

These people have no shame. They want you to pay taxes but they apparently regard themselves as above the law and obligation.

Is there anyone on his staff who isn't a crook?

"Former major leaguer John Wasdin started for the Japan Series champion Lions and held Japan to three hits over three scoreless innings."

Ouch. His MLB numbers - 793 IP/527 SO, 5.28 career ERA, best season was 8W-3L, ten years ago.

Not looking good for Hara and his samurai.

8 billion dollars for a mag-lev train running from DisneyLand to Vegas?

Does anybody with a brain in their head actually believe that with all the environmental - ists on the W Coast that this train is going to be built. This is monetary relief to lawyers on both sides of the issue in Nevada, but united as cronies behind Harry Reid.

300 million for environmentally friendly golf carts.

$1.2 billion for "youth activities" (for "youth" up to 24 years old).

    Insane.
