I agree that Muntadhar the Shoe Thrower will always be a hero with Khomeini's ideological heirs in Iran and with Al Qaeda sympathizers the world over.

Obama. What a disaster. We just passed the largest "stimulus" package in the history of the republic. It included 5 billion for the shakedown artists at ACORN, who Obama used to mentor. It included 300 million for "green" golf carts. And yet we are supposed to believe that school districts across the country, already among the most generously financed in the world, are strapped for cash?

Personally, I would always check which political groups these bigtime financiers make donations to, especially now that the means to do so are online.
When you detect certain patterns, you need to exercise caution.
The other big Ponzi scam artist, equally deserving of jail time, is the Texan "Sir" Allen Stanford.
BBC reports:
Political contributions
Away from the sports field, Sir Allen has used his money to get noticed among the political establishment in Washington.
He has personally given nearly $1m to US politics from both sides, although mostly to Democrats, according to the Centre for Responsive Politics, a group that tracks campaign spending.

Three years in jail. Subtracting for sleep leaves a full two years he'll have to think about George W Bush.
Of course, one doesn't need walls to be imprisoned.
Two years would be roughly equivalent to having spent about six hours a day these last eight years or so obsessing about Bush - perhaps that explains why so many identify with Muntadhar the shoe-thrower.

Madeoff was a big contributor to the Democrat Party and will be missed.
"Democratic politicians apparently have no intention of returning to Madoff's victims the more than $260,000 he contributed almost entirely to Democratic Party campaigns since the Clinton administration."http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=91510

"National League pitcher of the year Tim Lincecum threw 2 1-3 scoreless innings for the Giants before leaving after giving up two walks in the third. Lincecum gave up a single and three walks, striking out five in a 49-pitch outing.
Not bad for pre-season, against the best Japan has.

It kinda sounds like he has no faith in Obama and Geithner and company...

You have to laugh imagining what the reaction from any of Obama's starry-eyed sycophant fans would have been as recently as two months ago if confronted with a headline like this.

This could have happened anywhere in Europe. I don't think we need to demonize Germans.

Stunning. These people have no shame:
“More than one out of every five dollars of the $126 million Massachusetts is receiving in earmarks from a $410 billion federal spending package is going to help preserve the legacy of the Kennedys.”
Feds spending millions on Kennedy legacy in Mass.
