I see, so the cops made him write it down and then submitted it as evidence. This stinks of forced confession. 1000 snatchings? No way. Lazy cops just want to pin everything on one guy.

BlackFlag,
The facts are that Japans media has not always been this open and we still see very little in the media about what really goes on here as it is controlled by corporations. Now there is more publicity, but not full and democratic publicity about the things that have been going on in Japan for centuries. This is not a utopia. It is just as bad and corrupt and as dangerous as any other first world country. Its just that the media does not yet enjoy the same freedoms as their western counterparts. If we do some research we can learn that these crimes have been happening in Japan both during and before the economical miracle. There is nothing new here. Dare to dig a little deeper and learn for ourselves about Japan.

its not his fault. if she is mad enough to cling onto the door of a moving truck, she deserves her fate. he did not run her down. he did the right thing. just tried to get away before things got crazy.

I bet the father wishes he took the son fishing. Maybe that would have made all the difference. A bit of Father son time. Give nutbag J mum a chance to let off steam.

I read that a New Zealand dairy giant owns most of the stock in the Chinese milkish joint that produced the toxic brew. So much for clean kiwi business. I never thought a kiwi company would turn a blind eye to kids getting poisoned.

Dear Taeko,
Its 50% your fault that your daughter died. So You have got at least half a killer to blame. Just look in the mirror.

yes. society deserved a chance to heap scorn and hatred upon him, and then sentence him. Either that or death by cop would have been just as good. But the fact that he got to choose his own fate leaves the victims and their families with no sense of justice been served.

USARonin,
Opening fire on unarmed innocent bystanders is cowardly....unless you can argue that its courageous?
I've never understood what passes for logic to so many folks in this regard
