The roads around Osaka station are very busy and very large. J-walk at your own peril. There are so many many bridges you can use to get across the street. The guy must have been drunk to take on these streets and Japans stupid law forces drivers to flee the scene.

Thats some bad police work. The car was left at the scene at 3am and the father reported the car missing in the morning. So why did the cops not send a patrol car straight to his house a soon as identifying ownership?
