jwills79.....you are saying????
First of all, I'm not a Bush fan at all. But blaming him for the financial crisis we see in the US now is wide of the mark. For example Lehman. They played a risky game. They financed assets worth of 600 billion, while they only had 30 billion of equity. But, they lost the game. Own fault. Not GW's!!

"but every team played by those same rules"
I beg your pardon??? What about the US-Netherlands game?
There were 2 breaks during the game because of thunder. During the second break the Dutch coach was handed an amendment to the existing rules he never knew of. It meant the game was stopped and the US won the game. While the Dutch were on 1st, 2nd and 3rd base.

Why a shock? He's been in New Zealand for the past 15 years and has no experience with Japanese kobans. You could think of that yourself too, right?
Confederate2008 "Great news, will permanent residents in Japan be considered for police jobs in Japan?"
No. Why should they? Because one Japanese guy became an officer overseas?

Yes, this was a great victory of the Americans. After that tragic event in the coach's family just before the Olympics started for them. A gold medal to be proud of.

"Great goal scored by argentina against nigeria."
I don't think so. This "great" goal was possible because the Nigerian goalie made a hug mistake. What was he doing there?

"The Americans simply ran out of luck"
Well, Westurn....Americans need luck to win? I guess so.
"Well, the system is flawed."
This is the system since day one. If America doesn't like it, they shouldn't compete. Or losers on this forum shouldn't complain.
