This looks like so much fun! I wish I could have attended it. I've always wanted to dress up in an anime costume. Maybe I'll find an anime convention when I visit Japan. YAY. I can't wait till next year.

you should never have been allowed to suffer like this. Thats why we have adult teachers and homeroom teachers. I can't believe the teachers didn't spot this type of behavior before this. I am so sorry you felt alone and without hope.

    rest in peace my friend.

I can't believe it's only been 66 years since the bombing. I am so sorry that happened to you folks. It should never, ever happen again.

I don't think just talking is going to replace these poor peoples lives. Jsst think what it must be like to look where your house/village/town used to be. or the family of 5 which is now a family of 3. This is an open wound. it will take a lot of time and good will from everybody to help these folks out. How sad this women felt so alone she decided to do this.

I'm 60 and I've lost so many friends over the years, that I also do not have a lot of freinds to rely on. I am blessed by having a few GREAT friends who go way out of their way to help me. I try to do the same for others, but a lot of folks do not trust making new friendships.

Yes, I agree full heartedly. "Just doing their job" does not begin to state what these brave police are doing. I hope somebody thinks about covering up their eyes and facial skin. Protect these people, they are so very hard to find and what a national treasure they are.

This is a cry for help. I hope the community responds in kind. No kid, at any age, should be bullied. I hope all involved in the area will help keep this child as well as others safe.

Actually, it is very refreshing. Being a Finland person, this ritual feels great. In Finland, you'd spend a few hours in a sauna and then go out and roll in the snow. try it, you might like it.

Just what the world needs. Another missle system to let us sleep snug as a bug at night. I would have hoped by now, people would know the best security is to talk to each other.

Here's wishing only success for the sumo wrestlers. Do they also have a closing rite at the end of the season? Just a thought.

I wish the Imperial Family good wishes for the coming New Year. I think he would have to use a microphone, it would be hard on him to talk loud enough to be heard to that many people.

children should feel safe attending school. I was bullied when I went to grade school, and there wasn't any teacher around to prevent it. The bullies need to be indentified and receive help to stop this terrible behavior. It would be interesting to see a report on bullies themselves. Might be very telling how they got that way.
