Detected crimes down 5%, undetected crimes up 5%. Your chances of being arrested stand at 30%. Go for it.

Offensive as in it hurts my eyes and tastebuds.

Such disgusting filth would be unthinkable if this country had any taste or common sense for that matter.

Quasi-beer is an offensive word and an offensive product.

Apart from the damn fools who will line up for the latest marketing trick, this phone is going nowhere until they change a few things, especially for the ladies as it doesn't use cutesy picture icons (絵文字) and it doesn't use one seg either. Minimal monthly fee of 7000 moolah isn't gonna bring them in droves either.

    Down with the iPhone.

(Crappy Home Life plus Crappy Job - Vacation) x (No Hope)= Death at 45 (q.e.d.)

Hilarious! But a bit long so I'll have to write it down on the back of my hand so I get 30 percent and pass those entrance exams.

...my ideal relationship is one where a couple can enjoy daily conversation with a sense of love as well as friendship.

In any other country in the world, that is considered a normal relationship.

Exactly 1.5 meters? That's some good vision at 6.40pm.

I wonder if the crocodile became bigger with each Ozeki One Cup.

Yeah daylight saving would be useful if there was some actual sunlight.

Four hours of sunlight this week in Tokyo (from Monday to some unspecified time taken today). That's some nice grey to go with the grey buildings and grey personalities. And let's not forget the greying of Japanese society in general as well. Ugghh.

Building a long-term relationship is not always about like or dislike.

Sometimes it's more about how long it is until I turn 30. Good luck Kyoko. Call me.

Police said the buns were made by the same maker at factories in Chiba and Ibaraki Prefectures.

Were some of the ingredients imported from non-Japanese countries? C'mon, I'm sure we can blame the outside for this one too.

    ...crocodile in the Shobu River

How apt. Take the challenge. Would need a "that's not a knife, this is a knife" knife for this "shobu".

The driver told police he accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake

This is happening all too often in Japan today. How about introducing some good ol' Japanese red-tape to complicate the procedure for changing from the brake to the accelerator? The GPS could print out a form which you could sign in 6 places and you can get the green light sometime next month.

Yes and now with the Mega Mac making it to the regular menu these girls have all the energy they need, and then some more.

Let's enjoy Volume Up with me.

It seems very appropriate that this year’s Miss Universe Japan, Hiroko Mima, excels at high jump

Why is high jump or anything like it part of the contest now? Maybe convenient would have been a better word, as in now I have something to start this article with.

When I see stacks of Russian literature on display at bookstores, I am overwhelmed by a feeling of how far we've come, and then by a feeling of how far we've yet to go; we've got to sell those mountains of books that aren't going anywhere and I certainly can't fit anything else into my 4 square meter concrete mansion.

It was done by a foreigner, the tags even had side writings written in English

    Case closed.

Don't exactly know how to comment on this issue...

Maybe you should have left it at that. The garbage written to the side of the main garbage was incorrect, any native speaker would see that instantly and would close the case by deeming it the work of a major loser who probably missed the salaryman train and decided to exact some sort of pathetic revenge.

Yawn another Japanese trying to be cool by using English, this time by a go nowhere loser who needs his mother-bought Nike imports stolen so he can learn the value of property.
