The atrocity is not the Nazi uniform, the Nazis themselves, or even Hitler.
The Nazi uniform was an official uniform of a major power during a very important period of history. If you are offended by it, just don't buy it.

All? Sounds like offensive/vulgar stereotyping. That might offend some people!

If Nazi uniforms can't be sold because if offends some people, I wonder why they let Hollywood show them in their movies so often. I guess it gives them a chance to portray them as bad people.

Indeed, those who are criticizing the sale of this costume are probably the same who chant "freedom of expression" about cartoons and books that offend Muslims.

But where does it end? There are plenty of people who can be equally offended by other symbols, which will never be censored in this way.

But where does it end? What will they do with the costumes they already have? I bet I can get it at discount somewhere, but where?

skip, are you suggesting Vanunu has spent about 20 years in solitary confinement for no reason?
Israel has been urged several times to sign the NPT and allow inspections. Israel has always refused, but not only do they not get sanctions, they continue to receive massive financial and military assistance.
Iran joined the NPT and allows inspections, and they are rewarded with strict sanctions due to the efforts of the same people who lied about Iraq's WMDs.
The hypocrisy is mind boggling.

Iran is no where close to the being able to build such weapons and it has already been severely sanctioned. Israel, on the other hand, already built in secret a considerable nuclear arsenal, refuses to join the NPT or allow inspections, and instead of getting sanctions it is getting financial and military aid. Go figure.
And now they mention that Israel has not ruled out military action, as if that was an acceptable action.

Wikileaks is still very much in the news. I hope more people will soon realize that Wikileaks and al-Qaida are both tools used to further the agenda of whoever is controlling the US.
I have the feeling they might use Wikileaks to impose strict controls of the internet.

I'd be a big supporter of wikileaks if they gave us useful leaked documents, not just childish gossip ("he called president so-and-so a &^%$&").

To invade Iraq, they got journalists to spread so-called leaked information (i.e., lies), which were then used by politicians to support their agenda.
Now they have wikileaks doing the same thing. Its just a newer way of spreading propaganda.
There is no evidence Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons. If anything, Arab nations (in fact, probably all nations) are much more concerned with Israel's current nuclear arsenal.

Does that include the US troops still present there, and the "private contractors".

thetruthhurts,
Its not that I support Iran so much, its just that we have seen the destruction of Iraq and Afghanistan (and murder of countless civilians) based on lies; and we are seeing the same pattern directed at Iran, again based on lies. Those who do not know about the MSM lies, really should get a clue.
That fact that this Rushdie fatwa is all you can come up with as a reason for Iran not having nuclear POWER is quite reassuring. Also reassuring is the fact that they have not attacked any other country in centuries.
Now compare Iran's situation with that of Israel, who continues to illegally occupy land from its neighbours, has recently murdered thousands of unarmed civilians in Gaza and Lebanon, refuses to join the NPT and ignores countless UN resolutions, has been accused by the UN of committing war crimes, has built a nuclear arsenal in secret, and has a long history of committing false flags and may one day carry one out with a nuclear weapon.
You support the actual murder of scientist you know nothing about but appear so upset that Iran has a fatwa on an author who criticized their religion.
BTW, your continually bringing this up and pretending not to understand my posts, and your overall style resembles that of a previous poster...

So you support the murder of a scientist you really don't know anything about; interesting.
So I guess you would also agree with the killing of Israeli scientists; nah, I somehow don't think you would.

I also assumed Iran did not select average scientists to work on a major nuclear project. In fact, I am pretty sure they selected among their brightest scientists. I am sure Iran has their share of brilliant scientists. And the one that was murdered was most likely one of them.
Yes, I am aware that you bring that up all the time, and the author is still alive and well. That fact that this is all you can come up with as a reason for them not having nuclear POWER is quite reassuring. Also reassuring is the fact that they have not attacked any other country in centuries.
However, what I would like to know is why you seem to support Israel so much. Israel, who continues to illegally occupy land from its neighbours, has recently murdered thousands of unarmed civilians in Gaza and Lebanon, refuses to join the NPT and ignores countless UN resolutions, has been accused by the UN of committing war crimes, has built a nuclear arsenal in secret, and has a long history of committing false flags and may one day carry one out with a nuclear weapon.
How is it that you can support such a group? How is it that you can be comfortable with such a group currently having a large nuclear weapons arsenal?

I assumed Iran did not select stupid scientists to work on a major nuclear project. If you have any evidence he was involved in a nuclear WEAPONS program, let us know.
Because he is always unjustly attacked by the lying MSM.

Yeah, they accomplished the murder of a brilliant scientists for whom there was no evidence that he was involved in the development of nuclear weapons. If you are proud of your friends committing such murder, good for you.
