when i was there three years ago, i never thought that this quiet, small port city of usuki would produce a future miss universe japan!

a lot of people dont really care about adulterers! in fact, a lot of adulterers are being patronized by a majority of people.

i spent five days in padang last year, including my new year countdown for 2009! the people were really friendly! it made me wonder which of those hotels and shopping malls that i saw collapsed because of the tremor. despite its infrastructural inferiority, i still think that padang is a charming coastal city. i pray for the victims, and the speedy recovery of the survivors.

japanese usually go on an organized trip, that's why they are comfortable.. and complaints are minimal. most of them may not directly slap someone else's face but they can be verbally rude once u understood what they're talkign about. the funniest tourists are the russian! boracay island, in the philippines, is experiencing a huge influx of russian tourists and my friends there told me that they're the funniest and craziest foreign tourists ever! however, in most of my foreign travels, i find the chinese to be the most annyoing, but i guess it's bcoz i couldnt understand what they're talking about, and they can be really loud!!

this isnt a surprise! even my good friend got a cigarette burn from his childhood bestfriend while on a drinking spree last month! he only noticed about it the next day, but the scar is very visible until now! im not sure if he's proud of it, but i asked him if that was his idea of fun and he answered "no".

koreans travel to the philippines. japanese travel to thailand! malaysians and singaporeans travel to neighboring southeast asian countries! and ive seen lots and lots of mainland chinese tourists travelling around japan! the far east is very interesting! cultures vary, and the sceneries are unique! europe almost look the same even if u hopped from one country to another. the main difference in europe is the language, although if someone is as detailed as me, then maybe it's easy to spot the differences in architecture.
but with asia, there are ultra-modern cities just a few miles across a mysterious rural village; magnificent beaches; and even religious buildings such as temples (china, thailand and cambodia), shrines (japan), mosques (malaysia and indonesia) and churches (philippines).

Gekidan Hitori is popular by every definition of "popular" in Japanese soil. Those who don't know him are probably just watching the News with English dubbing, then turn off the TV or switch the TV channel to foreign channels (cable tv). Only those who are regular TV watchers have the right to question whether one person is popular or not. If a celebrity is not in your "radar", it does not automatically qualify you to question his/her popularity.

kweto. I'm totally with you on this one! I am not quite familiar with the wife so I guess marrying Gekidan Hitori has somehow made her popular.

Soldave. "Gekidan Hitori" is his official screen name. It's not his real name, and such name does not even exist in the real world, I mean, in the civil registry. Anyway, you can't separate "Gekidan" from "Hitori" and vice versa so there's nothing strange about it.

    Best wishes to both!

they have the right to defend themselves just like normal mortals do! they tried to get a dig, but most of them were rejected. some became a member by choice, but some were also driven by circumstance. we shd not judge their intention bcoz this world was not created for romantics only. they are not weird. strange perhaps, but not weird!

One big difference between dating in Japan and in my home country is the fact that here in Japan, men always have high expectations on the outcome of their dates. Expectations are not bad, but it should be reasonable.

As far as "married" men are concerned, I think that most of them were not really prepared to get married but were only compelled to do so because of social pressure. Lots of my Japanese friends are like that, and the single ones already feel the pressure of finding the "woman who could serve him for life". In addition, a gay friend of mine used to share with me his experience(s) with married men in gay saunas in Shinjuku, so for sure, single women from the US are not the only potential "partners" of these men.

If you really want to meet guys as potential partners, learn from the old and traditional "American" way - friends' or relatives' introduction... church... reunions and things like that. They may not be 100% ideal, but they've proven to be more effective than internet.

asashoryu had too much on his shoulders - the pressure and non-stop bullying by the media and fans alike - so i guess it was a perfect gesture to show his victory amidst all hammers above him! he's great! i liked the fact that he won! he's human that has emotion. sumo wrestlers have emotions too! thank god asashoryu is there to show to the world that champion sumo wrestlers also have souls! the ones who went before him didnt...

plastic.. plastic... plastics! i saw their tv appearance this morning, and zac was such a plastic with his answers to the questions! i think vanessa was more honest with her response, but zac would interfere her and responded with rehearsed answers - y'know the one that the japanese would love to hear like "we really look forward to come into your show! it's the highlight of our trip" blah blah blah!!!

i was molested eight years ago while i was on train from nakagawara to shinjuku via the keio-inokashira line! a perverted salaryman squeezed my knees, and the only thing i could do was escape from him coz i didnt know how to speak japanese, and i was afraid of being taken advantaged bcoz of my limited understanding of the language! and that was in TOKYO... not saitama!!!

guyz... stop bullying saitama! this is a case of perversion that can happen anywhere! JT is capitalizing on twisted bullies like u guyz who enjoy picking on saitama and its shortcomings! im pretty sure this sort of thing happens as often as in some other parts of japan.
