    A moment of cruelty as reported by Sri Lankan Daily Mirror;

    A mentally ill Tamil youth was beaten to death by Security forces in the capital Colombo in broad daylight.

    There was no LTTE nor any aggression. Reminder of constant ethnic riots.

    Do you still believe Sri Lankan PR where media and ICRC are expelled: ICRC is begging Sri Lanka again to let them in.

    The Tamil refugees are shuffled into transit camps away from their homes in an attempt to secure EU's GSP+ trade concessions; Read Washington Post report: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/11/10/AR2009111007723.html

    There are more than 500 families of the majority community who have set up houses and are cultivating paddy in areas are refusing to leave the Tamils original homes:

    Sri Lankan long term agenda is 'Degeneration of Tamils' For which Bush the Graet's 'war on terrorism' is so sweet.

    The alignment of Sri Lanka with geopolitical powers makes it impossible for any other countries to voice against human right abuses. Long silence on the part of international community to allow such a huge human catastrophe in a blackout is the main reason for this. The geopolitical powers with newly gained throughfare do not help either.

    This war seems unstopppable. Countries assisting Colombo should not be part of this genocide

    U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s telephone call to President Mahinda Rajapaksa was described by the government media as an acknowledgement that Sri Lanka was on the verge of defeating terrorism. But the official communiqué of the United States highlighted concern on the deteriorating conditions and loss of life in the government designated safe zone.

    Colombo unheeded to international pressure is carrying on this senseless war with more ferocity. People like me who have families trapped in the conflict zone hear only worst news coming out from there. Tamil minority is uprooted from their traditional homeland and made captive in subhuman camps. Tamils will soon be wiped out of the map. Like in Sudan, International Community bears responsibility for delaying justice to this longstanding conflict.
