John Becker, you better turn off your radio and TV when people come to visit, oh if your TV is too loud people next door might hear the movie for free, don't risk it cut out you eyes and cut off your ears asap :)

according to some association of "copyright BS blah blah blah" press release, all those arrested were Japanese, and most of those caught were using "share" which is mostly Japanese content. so I assume they only targeted Japanese content "uploaders" - for now.

the other day I noticed Sydney (Australia) bus seat fabric is a graffiti pattern...

(it's not graffiti on the seats - it's actually a pattern in the fabric that's made of graffiti or tags like the crap graffiti you see in Japan occasionally - not the "beautiful" murals you might see in NY)

does anyone know if this was a response to criminals doing graffiti on these buses ?

The problem with putting cycles on the road isn't the cars, it's the scooters.

main problem for cars and scooters is cycles riding on the wrong side of the road!

Gave up riding a bicycle a few years back...got sick of being harassed by the cops.

Nagoya is the worst place for this, I lived there for 5 years, got stopped by cops about 10 times to check my bike was not stolen !

I've lived in many other cities since, never been stopped once!

trash is trash, ever go to the beach in Japan ? I regularly go to the beaches in Shonan, and some days it's terrible.

ask the local surfers who clean the beach at 10am every weekend !

(and it's all garbage with Japanese text on it in this area)

want some memories ? take a photo, or put a time capsule in your own school yard!!

stop this stupid practice, and do not encourage it, the kids should have all been fined for littering!

Japan should hike the tobacco price to 1500 yen per pack

just make it 15,000 yen a pack, and cut the consumption tax to zero, that will increase spending on things people really need :)
