Inamuragasaki has some awesome waves in the typhoons, best surf spot in Shonan, especially for SUP or longboards :)

2 things in this story astound me... "Police said Monday they have arrested a 19-year-old"

so why don't they arrest some bozo-bikers ?

and "19-year-old man"

since when is a 19-year-old a man in Japan, usually they're kids until 21 ?

Apart from the part about tepco being involved

unfortunately tepco still own all the power poles and cable in the region, they have to be involved some how anyway.

every new house built in Japan from now on MUST have solar panels

true, need laws to save energy too, like "incandescent light bulbs should be banned".

"google navigation sux in Japan" : did you ever try a Japanese designed car navigation system ? the new ones are quite good. So the one letting you down is google.

JP systems are mostly Japanese, but you only need to learn about 5 main sentences to get by, and realistically you should not be driving a car if you don't understand Japanese anyway.

this is a bad excuse. People, think wisely - please do not try to help out tepco... AT ALL!!

5 months to make a "tent" ? common sense please - this is a joke.

fixing this mess should be #1 priority, any other projects by any contractors involved in the "tent" should have been shelved to make this thing sooner. No cost should be spared, cleaning this mess should be #1 priority!
