Sounds not quite possible if the man is Japanese. I just want his love and loyalty and the relationship works well so far. I've learnt to live with the not so romantic love attention I was used to with Western men in the past...

Bullshit..! NHK was just waiting for the right timing to get rid of her. She's 55 and it's the lay-off workers age. Hence they accused her of abandoning her job.
It happened to my friend as well. The company asked her to take temporary leave and she went home since her schedule annual leave was around the corner. When she returns her boss who doesn't like her just coldly told her the company can't renew her contract. She only found out the truth 6 months later from the HR Manager that her boss claimed she was incompetent, and she abandoned her job.....
So the story sounds so familiar to me.

I'd like to get this treatment, but I'm so afraid to be attended by the young inexperienced staff. 5-star hotel's believes in Procedure Manual, meaning anyone can do the job. But I still believe in expertise.

I always think that the Japanese are so busy body people. They really like to ask personal questions, everywhere you meet them, at the Cafe, Restaurant, Hairdresser, Gym...and even at the interviews!! I sometime wonder if it's because they're nervous meeting a gaijin or they simply have no professional minds or social manners.

No wonder those J women past 30 years old can't get married! Too many conditions. Some of those I know of in their late 30s and 40s always come around asking me to take them to those parties I hang out, They really sound desperate.
