Think like a spoiled child, and you will understand North Korea a little more. There's too much going on elsewhere in the world, and there's a new US President. So now it's all bets are off with South Korea, and we're going launch another missile. Like a child throwing a tantrum in a store because mommy won't buy him a new toy (except they have nukes and a huge leader-worshiping army).

By the way, expect a suspended sentence because the judge will understand her stressful living situation.

Damn, I guess bashing her head in on the concrete would eventually stop the baby from crying. And, I think "de facto 37-year-old husband" is a nice way to say she was living with a boyfriend who was 14 years older than her.

buddha4brains - sexist and immature? why? The article calls her a "shy 18 year old high school student", who just happened to be getting birth control. I support her decision to do that, and her "right" to engage in "adult" activities. It's just a contradiction to call her shy when she's obviously sexually active. I was not judging her morals. Please think a little longer before you make inappropriate comments.

Oh, maybe maybe having 14 deductions will give her such a large income tax return that she can pay off her million-dollars of debt.

Betzee - I agree with you, but I wouldn't call 14 an arbitrary number in this case. You are right that the children should be assisted like anyone else, if they need it. But 14 children?

She's 33 years old, living with her parents, already had six kids aged 2 to 7, and now there's eight more?! Damn, no wonder the mother told her "When you come home from the hospital, I'll be gone." (That is a quote from a Los Angeles news story). Can you imagine being in that "modest one-story home".

I disagree with the use of the term "Family Planning" when including abortion. If people had done their planning, there wouldn't be an unwanted pregnancy. But, as I've said before, "Family Planning" often means "What should I do now that I've started one". Oh, I also disagree with this article calling "Joyce" shy. How could she be so if she was making children?

grafton - "NK is like some crazy spoilt child, when it wants something it has one of these mad moments, gets real nasty & then next week asks for something knowing it will be given to simply to keep it quiet." EXACTLY correct, except they have nukes.

When I went through a bag search at Narita, the Inspector was very polite. He wore white gloves and asked politely if he could search my carry on. He even treated my dirty laundry as if it were important. Then he repacked my bag for me, folding my dirty clothes! I still brag about how polite the man was (didn't get his name) when the topic comes up. About the NPA official, I would like to know his wife's reaction, and his excuse to her when he got home.

He was old, disabled, and had a "special parking permit" (and probably the "elderly driver" orange and yellow magnet on his car). No charges will be filed. In fact, he will likely receive compensation from the Restaurant for being unable to get out of his way.

They were in the barn together, and she was attacked because she wouldn't consent. Onichan is going away for a long time, once he's caught. But, I suspect his body will be found next to a suicide note later.
